  1. Musky,

I'll keep her in mind in case I can't find what I'm looking for, but I was looking more for something online that had pics of their styles of writing and pics of other shirt styles, etc.

(aka, I lack creativeness and vision )

If you email kind of what you want, she can email back pics of what she has done and give you an idea. Good luck

  2. Snow on the boat this time of the year is a good thing. The fish think it's an iceberg and don't shy away from it. A good recommendation is to put sandpaper on the bottom of your "sneakers" so you don't slip.

  3. A 18' boat would do great with buckets. First they are cheap to try for the first time. And they float when you do neutral drops if fishing alone.

Do not forget to put the small whole in the bottom of bucket.

I've got two of them on my boat. I took a hole saw for doorknobs and drilled a hole in two sides of the bucket. This keeps them from spinning all the time. I put the holes about 2 inches from the bottom. They work great.

  4. I just can't imagine a fishery, even the alaska oceans, with one boat sustaning a catch of " 75 tons of pollock " on a regular basis. I feel bad when I hook 1 fish deep and can't release it. ;(

The Alaskan fisheries are well regulated. Many commercial catches are limited by a total tonnage. ie: When the total tonnage of a certain fish is caught, all commercial boats fishing for that species MUST halt fishing for that species and return to port with whatever they have in their hold. The season for that species is then closed to commercial fishing. This is STRICTLY enforced.

They are equally strict in job opportunities in Alaska. Just look at what they have to say about foreign workers: http://www.labor.state.ak.us/esd_alaska ... arning.htm

I wish other States were as strict.

  5. Hey MuskyBob!

Hahah - actually, I am going to a wild guess and say that you are probably running Firefox browser? Correct? If so then simply scroll down to the bottom of the post and you will notice a scroll bar that will give you the option to scroll over to the right. If you are running Internet Explorer then the link will have wrapped across three lines of text. I am going to fix the link to make it shorter anyways, but this is just for your reference in the future.

I don't know what happened but it's all better now.

Yup I am running Firefox, but there was no scroll bar before. Everything fits in the window now though. Thanks
