  1. For me it's a new JVC high def , hard drive camcorder so the girlfriend can actually believe that I fish that much. :D I've been craving one for awhile. I'm sure she will be sick of me begging her to come do some recording for me. Maybe in the fall I can tape some of you guys in Oswego. I'm bound to catch at least 1 funny moment right?

Other than that it's alot of regular wallye stuff. Lindy did co me out with some new shake e blades. they now have rattlin blades and bottom bouncers.

  2. OK im in the market for a new anchor since I took the one out of my bigger boat to replace the one in my smaller boat since I dontaed one to the susquhanna river last month . I cant decide between these 2. The Richter or The Digger. I mostly lake fish with that boat but it's possible I might use it in the Oswego, Niagra, Genny, or Estaury of the Salmon river. Any input would be appreciated. I'm going to go with the heaviest model in whichever type I decide on. 17ft Lund Fisherman.

  3. I'm with the crocs being comfy ( so I've heard) lol. Here is the thing, how many croc days are there in the spring on th Big O? Im going for warmth. Cold feet = bad time. wet feet = worse time. Billy those Boots are warm, I love them but I prefer to wear something that i can slip off quick if i take an accidental dip for a spring swim. Hey you never know and I dont want to be bobbing around with those on. I wear Mikey mouse boots that I DONT TIE. These are extremely waterproof and warm. I find them very comfortable as well. They might be a lil heavier than crocs but we are on a boat and not running a marathon. They slip off very easy as well. It's one of those different strokes for differnet folks things but for my days chasing browns im going M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

  5. It's time to make some lemonade boys. The big boat is coming out of hibernation and doing some open water trolling on Oneida and DeRuyter the next 2 days. I dont care if I see hardwater again this year. I havent fallen through the boat yet. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to troll until I find concentrations of fish and then drop some jigs down to them. If it goes well and it stays open i'll room for weekdays if anyone wants in.

  6. I fished the susky today. I boated over 20 fish. Alot of nice eaters. A few big girls as well. It was some really tough fishing. There was a huge amount of ice floating down the river making it tough to cast anywhere and even vertical jigging was difficult. The crappie hole is frozen all the way to 100 yards downstream of the murphs island. All the ice that was coming down just kept swirling in the eddys at upper and lower pat. I ventured off a lil bit and thats when I found fish. A good day. The water is a "perfect color" in my opinion. I even had the pleasure of watching an eagle for a good portion of the day. I'll probably hit it again tomorow or friday.
