had better years by a few fish..the beauty of this year i caught eyes every day and limited out twice.[4]..

Year 12 going to Kirk Cove and had the lake to ourselves.between 4 guys we got 40+ eyes with 6 over 24 in..caught my 1st Canadian eye on a bite me paddle tail..and so long 4 now.john

6am till 12am...4 eyes 15 pickerel for the tournament  at barttel bait...may have finished in the top 20...lots of fish at the scales...and so long 4 now;john

545am-1130am.2 perch 1 eye..lost lots of fish..get a dozen cranks on the real and proof no more fish..added a baby treble to the jig..no bites..take treble off and list 4 more..really confused. .dont know what to make of it..and so long 4 now.john

Fished. From 4pm till 845 pm 28-12 fow.. 2 eyes 1 white perch 1 lost eye..eyes took a jig in 18 fow at dusk. ..and I also responded to a man overboard..but thats a conversation for another day..and so long 4 .now..john

Fished fron 6-12 am.8-27fow..3peeps in the boat. 1 eye. 1 smb.1 sheep 1 pickeral. Lost numerous. .couldn't find what they wanted.got a z24 in eye though in 25 fow.and so long 4 now..john

fished from 830pm till 1130pm.the river was really moving made boat control hard for me since i was fishing solo..only switched out lures 5 times but couldnt find what they wanted..landed a 3lb smb and thats all..and so long 4 now;john

545am till 11am..8-24fow..3 smb and 3 snakes..and wow did the wind blow...40+ yrs of fishing for eyes and the 1st time ive been skunked on opening weekend..not a great start of 2014..and so long 4 now;john

oneida lake.6am till 1130 am 3-20fow.....got skunked..3 pickeral.2 sheep 1 smb..no eyes..never saw a eye caught..fished larkin and wilson point.along with lakeport bar and a few unname shoals..and so long 4 now.john

Wee bit nipply this morning. .couldn't find the perch..630-1130am. 8-40 foe..4 keeper perch 4 throwbacks and 1 ..26 in 7lb trout.on 4lb test..what a fight..

Got on the perch ok this morning.I .caught a dozen quick then a Big Fish hit and snapped my ugly stick??.really 4lb floro stayed intacked. .spent the next 4 hrs missing fish with my walleye rod..ended up with 2dozen.brought broken ugly back to P B S..got a new one..and so long 4 now

thanxs for the input..if the gold is in 50+ fow how the hell do you find them????the amount of aRea is HUGE..its tough i know but ..70 fow..i woulldnt ever thought to look the deep for a fish that ought to be shallow staging for the spawn..why would they go that deep////..
