I fish the same as you in a similar rig. I have a Garmin 541s and love it. I have run Garmin fishfinders 15 years with never a problem. Unit comes with Ontario and Oneida maps already in it.

Most don't give the goldens any respect but these are some hardcore dogs that make amazing pets. This is my mother's kennel. She has been doing it for 35 years. Lots of master hunters coming out of her kennel. Dog in the video is a 4 year old from my last female's last litter. We had to put her down this year at 12 but the we have a new one that is about 14 weeks old now. What a meat hound. We have had some fun shooting and retrieving pigeons at a nearby farm already.

This dog is with a hardcore waterfowler in Massena and really gets a workout.

I have the same style as Skipper19 and I too like the variability of the calls it can produce. Mine can also be adjusted down to a doe bleat. I have called plenty in with the bleat as well.

FWIW, I was doing some aggresive rattling, probably a 60-90 second series, followed up with some grunts. Maybe 30 minutes between series.

Had some success that last two nights rattling with the smaller Knight and Hale pack rack. Had a 4 pt and spike come in last night and a set of sixes tonight. Manage to take one of the six points with my new Mission Endeavor. Really like that bow and I know seriuos shooters can see the benefit in the really expensive bows but I think the Endeavor shoots very well for hunting purposes. Also got a new Summit Viper stand for this year. Works well and man is that thing comfortable. Looks like I'll be able to target some walleyes and perch for a little while now. Surf and Turf.

The Liberator locks to the line really well and you can load up your rod as much as want.

The Liberators have been run for over 20 years on the Fish Doctor and we have had great luck with them. If the fish hits the back lure you can release the Liberator against the rod tip and the leader and all will slide down the line. When we are using lighter line we will reach up and release it by hand and sometimes just take it right off depending on what the fish is doing. Do yourself a favor and run a nice heavy swivel on the Liberator end of you leader. Seems to help it slide down the line.

Zero. Most times the Liberator holds and you just net the fish with the other lure dragging back. If the Liberator slips it just slides down the line to the back spoon like a slider.

High level Lantiegne secret! Originated on Lake O. Buddy of ours won a bunch of $1000 a day checks with it. Run your attractor/ fly as I described on the cheater back 8 feet from the ball. Run a spoon back as far as you want on the main line. Deadly setup for a small boat guy with limited riggers that wants to add some flash into a spoon spread, especially a spoon spread for July Browns. DOOOHH! Did I just say that! No inheritance for sure now.

Hit the water at 11 to try to some perch around Shakelton. Never found them, never had a bite in an hour and a half on minnows. I know, I suck. Decided to go for a troll outside of 121 and 123 and ended up with two walleyes around 18" and a bakers dozen of nice perch in an hour or so. Fish came off the riggers running a $1000 cheater rig with #7,#9 amd #11 perch (the new lighter perch color) rapalas. Take a 12 to 14 foot cheater leader, hook the cheater leader in your release at the ball with about 4 foot to the cheater release. Run the #11 rapala back 100 feet and hook on the cheater release. The perch seemed to love the rapala right behind the ball. We ran the ball two feet from bottom. Both walleyes came on the back plug. Ran this rig one day in late June with the rapalas on one rigger and worm harnesses on another and couldn't keep the riggers in the water - walleyes, perch, sheephead, smallmouths

Maybe something different for some of you trollers to try sometime.

Don't forget to run a couple of steelhead spoons in your spread. Been a few in the river and they stage off of the river as well. They love the sun and a red Alpena Diamond at 2.5 MPH can't be beat if there are any around.

Have one already, looking for another. Getting tired of cranking them heavy Salmon weights.

We got a late start and got lines in around 8:30. Plenty of fish North of Deer Creek in 45-50 fow. We could only get them trolling South but we ended up with a couple good eaters. Lost a few others and some tackle unfortunately.

Took the family out today in Mexico Bay and it was way windier than forcasted. Made one down wind troll in the skinniest water we could find that had temp. Went one for two. Went a little too far North before we turned back and we had a wet ride coming back South. Crew got mutinous so back in we headed. Went back out by myself and got two right off the bat. 55 degrees down 65 feet when I left. Enjoy the video.

Swap the powerpacks first and see if non firing cylinders switch sides. Had the same issue with. 110 once.
