  1. Once the lake turned over I moved out to 300-to 500 fow, the fish were scattered all over so you had to run boards divers and riggers to find the fish but youcould still get a desent box. never pulled the boat out till Nov.Theres nothing like a calm day in Oct. out on the lake away from the crowds. Don't go out there alone with out a radio and a kicker or twin engines, you will be all alone out there. :o

  2. Its to early for me so youall that are excited have at it and good luck. As far as the youth hunt goes thats fine, three days after they leave the woods the deer will go back to normal movement, the state land is full of people (hikers) till gun season, they don't bother them much. Hey guys don't forget to spray for ticks and shake out your cloth out side the house or camper. :( . Ticks suck.

  4. Thanks for the (as usual) great report, Chris. What goes around, comes around. It's a big lake, and there's plenty of room for all - the guys' reports (like yours) from the Rochester/I-Bay/Bear Creek/Hughes enable the "little guys" to have a day of fishing with their kids/dads/friends that makes for memories that are much more valuable than whatever the prize money might be for their "secret" location/lure combination. Thanks again for all you've contributed to this board.

    I'll second that. :beer::yes:
