I just recevied a phone call from my cousin...who is still in Oswego. He got three this morning. 100 to 150 fow and 50 feet down. Seems to be a fly bite.

Fished Tuesday pm and all day wednesday...it was a slow day and a half for us. We were 1 for 3 (kings). The one we landed was 20 lb.

The fish were still scattered and we were searching for them anywhere between 80 fow and 350 fow. We were using green & white spin doctors with the matching fly color.

No I do not have a trolling plate.

I have 24 footer with a 305 and I troll with it. Like Billy V said, give it a try.

I picked some new cut-bait from Larry's Oswego Salmon Shop a few weeks back. I was told to put salt on prior to use, since it softer than versions in the past.

I have not used it yet, so I do not know how it works.

I just picked up some cut-bait from Larry's Salmon Shop (in Oswego)...not the same Rhys Davis brand, but it appears to be the same style. The clerk said to put some morton salt on it before fishing to make the herring strip harder...apparantly the new version is softer. Also, you must keep your receipt (it will be stamped by the store).

FISHINMAN. No problem.

I am trying to put the wiper unit back on my boat (the previous owner removed). It appears that I am missing a couple of nuts and the pinch pad (that goes in the wiper arm and tightens down on the wiper motor shaft).

Is there a boat junkyard that I can search for the parts or a marine store that I could find the parts in?
