I had an '89 5.0L mercruiser that would cut off on me at various times. Somedays no problem and other days would just quit. I narrowed it down to the ignition coil, however, during the testing of, it passed. Didn't matter if coil was hot or not....it would just quit at random moments. Never understood why, but just ended up replacing the coil, and all was well! Never had another problem!

Thank you. I try my best to take care of it...as I said it is my baby! Yes, it is 24' with an 8' beam. It is an excellent platform to fish out of. It also catches fish! My biggest brown this year was just over 12lbs out of Fairhaven in May. My biggest King was just over 30 lbs last August in Oswego.

Thanks Roughrider IV. It is my baby and I treated it like it. It is a sad time for me (boating wise). Forgot to mention that it will also include 4 coast guard life jackets, type iv throwable life saver, 5 bumpers, dock lines for both sides, anchor, 150 qt coleman marine cooler, on-board battery charger, and a complete ez-steer system. To sweeten the pot, we can talk about my fishing gear. Ray

Selling my boat only due to moving WEST. This is a turn-key boat! It is a 1989 Thompson 240 Fisherman with 1989 Trailer. I am the 2nd owner. First owner fished for Walleyes on Lake Erie. It has only been in Freshwater (Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes) The engine has only 686 hours. 5.0L Mercruiser with Alpha I drive The transom was replaced three years ago. 2010 Yamaha High Thrust 9.9 with extended warranty to 2016. Control King Throttle Control Panther T4 added last summer Humminbird 1158C SubTroll 900 Global Map 4800m 2 Scotty Downriggers 1 Cannon Mag 10 Downrigger 2 Big John quad tree Rod Holders 2 Bert’s Ratcheting Rod Holder 5 rod holder Rocket Launcher 2 Big John Planer Reels VHF Radio Radio/CD Player Swim Platform I trailer this boat to the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario. Fishing Mexico Bay is active in August, as fish are staging to run the Salmon River. With that, there is boat traffic too. Don't know about the campground. -
