I believe the cannon cable is 135# rating. I have always replaced it with AFW 150# cable. Keep the weight in the water and use snubbers and hope for the best 😆

I run Mag 10 STX cannons. They are wicked fast. I run 16# torpedoes and fish thief HD snubbers. One thing I’ve learned the hard way. NEVER let your weight get above the water line. If it’s hanging in the breeze the rolling and jerking will take your weight every time

All the boat launches should have a “harbor master” , someone to keep things running smoothly . I know it won’t happen , but it would be nice Mexico point used to be the same way years ago. I’ve only launched there 5-6 times in the last 2 years and it’s much better. when you have many recreation boats , jet skis , kayaks , canoes and a bunch of people that have NO idea what they are doing it’s going to be a cluster i guess patience is a virtue Tight lines

Speed over ground (SOG) is GPS speed. Speed over water (SOW) will always be different because of wind , waves and currents Its speed over water that counts

Charts ( not maps ) are available from NOAA you can go online and pick the areas you want charts for West Narine used to carry them in stock but GPS has pretty much made the printed charts obsolete
