Yes they will just 1000ft 0f 20 or 30lb wire. I used one for a drop ball rod.

I have now have 6 shimano charter special reels for sale.They are the 1000 series. These are he smoothest lever drag reels i have ever used. I have 15 of the 2000 so i dont need the 1000. I have a standard horizon cp175c chartplotter. This unit is color viewable in the sunlight, has the chip for lake ontario in it which is 189$ alone.It is like brand new. It has the slip on bracket to mount, and a cover for the screen. I am asking 225$ for the whole smash.. Call bruce 585-750-3164

I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the sodus pro-am. It seems to have moved along very smoothly, until the big blow friday evening which trashed the tent. They made do quite nicely with other options. Hopefully this event will continue to grow in the future. If you have never fished a tournament or in sodus this is the place to try, very friendly and with acccommodations and tackle, food etc all in a short walk. Thanks again, look forward to next year.

The only thing with thermacell is, if it is windy out it wont be as effective.

I run a autopilot like most of the guys i work with. My clients usually tip 20$ a man on a four man trip. Yes there are much better tips, but that is the average. That is for a 5hr or a 8hr trip. Do i bust my balls to get bites? Yep, sure do and they know it.

I say go cash entry, and cash it all, all the way around. F..k the gov, state and who ever else has thier hands out.

I have a new sony surround sound system model # STR-KS360 325$ new, asking125$. A 2 year old 35 gal fish tank with EVERYTHING you would need to have fish. This sits on a nice cherry cabinet all in mint shape. Over 500$ invested, asking 225$. Solar cover that is 2 years old on a metal roller fits on a 36 by18 pool. This is 480$ to replace, asking 150$. That steelhead that looks like it got hit by a car, is what i call a war vet. That fish and any that look like that were in the streams doing their spawning thing. Digging beds in gravel, getting hooked or harassed by fisherman, etc. I typically have my people release the fish. Partly due to the poor eating quality, and the fact that they made it out of the war zone to do it all over again. The other rainbow is just that. A domestic rainbow that has not gone in to spawn yet in its life. Those war vets tend to hang in the warmer side of the temp breaks. Looks like you had some fun for sure, keep up the good work.

YEEHA!! I am working on a Sponser from Kruger Farms.com which is a internet outdoor store, and also the largest rapala dealer in the country. A friend of mine is on the prostaff and mentioned to me that they would be interested in sponsering a tournament. This would be perfect, as i suspect this one, to continue to grow. I will get answers asap.

I am happy to see this fishing event going forward. I apoligize for any issues that might have arisen from past posts. Lets keep this positve, and i appreciate all of those who are helping to keep this tournament alive. I will be looking for the sodus pro am website. Thanks again.

I spoke to somebody at hook line and sinker. The person had no information about a tournament in july. He did say that she? talked about it and might do something on the internet about it. He didnt even know the dates she was talking about. It sounds to me that IF there is to be a tournament, it wont be as spectacular as the past pro-ams. I hope somebody steps in and gets this event rolling and it becomes as good or even better then the past. This is the only one our team does anymore, and we look forward to this every year.
