  1. https://vermont.craigslist.org/boa/5515518164.html Very nice set up
  2. Taking the kids today!
  3. I am in Victor guys, outside or rochester .. Sorry
  4. if you have the bay star unit, stinger will have to upload his engineered bracket to link the two together as my computer is not letting me save the images from the pm he sent me
  5. These are for sea star hydraulic steering. They sell adapters at marine tech to complete these.
  6. Thank you stinger for sending me the pics of your boat!! it is solved, stinger used some crafty engineering that I will copy!
  7. I would go to the classifieds section and start a thread, instead of putting "for sale" put "wanted" it would be a good start.
  8. Doc, I absolutely love my 196 and I think you will hear the same.
  9. ok, so you never actually used the adapter that marine tech makes? it was my understanding that picture you showed was the set up for cable steered boats and the shaft on baystar doesn't move enough to hook it up that way but I will give it a try Thank you!
  10. Those are ez steers. I am looking to get one in front of motors
  11. Yeah I have done that but like I said most pictures are for the "seastar unit" and not the bay star (under 150hp). Called seastar and they told me to call marine tech, called marine tech and they had no clue what baystar is.. ugh
  12. @lrg355, do you have a picture of how you connected to the hydraulic unit on the main motor?
  13. I just noticed you have a 200hp and probably not the same application because I have the baystar not seastar
  14. Also CK please update me when you try this..
  15. thanks guys I was told the panther adapter will not work on the baystar kit only the seastar, chas are you using the adapter on your motor?
  16. I am upgrading my steering to hydraulic on a 125hp merc and currently I have an EZ steer which will work but I don't like having the tie bar behind the motors. I would prefer it in the front so I can detach if needed. My question is anyone have ideas on how to do that? I believe baystar has a connection tie but don't think it works on the baystar (up to 150hp) kits. I also don't want to drop more money on a Garmin tr1 auto pilot kicker or the wireless steering from panther.
  17. that extra support above the pedestal seat attachment was a good idea! Something you structured up? Is it welded to the mast?
  18. Sure is, only thing left is a 9.9 high thrust. You can get lucky with finding a used one sometimes. I got mine off of eBay from Iowa
  19. Asking 50 bucks, just want it gone and I don't want to go take it to scrap yard. Come take this!
  20. Ok I found a great deal on a 60 inch shaft terrova I pilot, I have been waiting to to buy a 72" shaft. My question is do fishmaster owners or any 20ft aluminum boat owners really wish they had the extra 12inches? I mean 12inches = 1k more to put in perspective
