According to DEC regulations, you are required to obtain a permit from the DEC to stock any fish or minnow (and probably crayfish, mussels etc) into any body of water in the state, public or private.

Already taken care of. Good for five years.

Flat lining is when you run unweighted line like mono. Since its a weighted line that sinks, I think you mean running it down the chute which is highly effective and great if you don't have boards. It can be a bit of a pain when you're fighting a fish on another line, but it's s great way to keep your spread manageable.

Check starter motor by jumping the solenoid and turn the key. Starter motor should spin. If it does, you have a bad solenoid. If it doesn't, bad starter. My guess is it's a starter or starter solenoid issue given the fact that it didn't turn when you jumped it from your truck

I think the guys are correct - that looks like an Atlantic. Fork in the tail, the spots and the small mouth look Atlantic-ish to me.

Yea it kinda got me going. Theres nothing like the first day out in Spring Time. I mean you know the browns are in close, you still gotta wear your heavy jackets/hats, Spring wind patterns, no leaves on the trees yet.

 

I went back in time , found this video of me and my son, 5 years ago lol.  How time passes. Since then hes moved to the carolinas, good car mechanic and this is something he does miss...

 

But anyway heres to a great Spring thaw out....

Wow - superb!!

I'm actually in the process of rocking, taping and sanding my man cave walls and after 37 tries at a perfectly smooth seam with my spackle knife, there's always still just that tiny bit of imperfection in the joint compound.

When I'm frustrated with my next butt joint, I'm just going to say **** it and do what this guy does. So cool
