  4. Well, I like to run 15 lb. weights, and this year I sent #5 and #6 to Dave jones locker(with probe and release). At 300.00 a wack I'm looking to INSURE that I won't drop another one. I run 180lb. On the port rigger and never lost a weight. I read some where that they used camera cable for the depth raider and was hoping to get some info. On it . It may be 150 lb. test but it has to work better than the coated cable that I have been using ... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  8. Drove to Samson, if your thinking about it you need to take a boat or forget about it !! The weeds are terrible, 60-80 foot casts were still into the weed beds, fished for several hours trying all along the wall, never took a hit and never got away from the weeds . Next time I'm dragging the boat with me !!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  10. Snap weights are a big part of my brown program, I use from 1/2 oz up to and including home made 10 oz. in my opinion they are more stealthier than dipsy divers. I can place the weights anywhere on the line 10 ft to 100 ft. From the lure. Slide divers work fine but I have lost too many to ever pursue that presentation again. If your running multiple lines off the same board I always run the same weight and same leads, good luck with whatever way you choose! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Did a pile of silver today, best troll was heading north, 120-150 ft. ----105 & 125 down on riggers, all fish wanted stinger spoons, golden perch, fat Nancy's wiggle and chart use alewife took majority of the fish, no big ones but most where 18-20 in. Down speed 1.8-2.2 worked the best. Wire dipsies took lots at 225-250 on a #1 1/2 setting . West side from the drop up to Tunkhannock......good luck and let us know how you do.
