  1. I'm just getting real antsy to get out on the water without kicking up a ton of mud trying to get out!!! Sooner the better !!!! 21' outboard
  2. My next question is "what is normal " Is 380.5 too low to get out of Treemen?
  3. Is there a NOAA bouy/ web site to check ?
  4. Anyone know when they will start raising the water levels, love to get on but need a little more depth....:)
  5. Samson this morning, north wind blew lots of ice from the docks into launches, I would back my boat into it !!
  6. Pa. Now has a 25.00 bounty on them ,
  7. Is the coastguard launch out by the break wall ???
  8. The one they no longer make because of the issues with it and the one they have no upgrade to fix it, am I bitter .. You bet your butt I'm bitter. Will never own a ray again!!
  9. My boat is trailer able and I do my best to follow the fish, spring is western south shore for browns, may is henderson for walleye , July -sept. Is henderson for kings. I have had more " dead water days"out of Oswego than any other port, so I rarely launch there. If you follow the reports on this site, you can find fish !!!!!!! Good luck and have fun setting up your boat. A little advice .... Buy the best you can afford, not the most!!!!!!!!
  10. My old boat has a Simrad, it never missed a beat., even at .8 mph for walleyes, my new boat has a Raymarine and I absolutely HATE it .. Just a total pain in the but, you have to be over 5 mph to engage and it kicks out below 2.2 mph, one heavy gust of wind and you have to speed back up to 5 mph to have it re-engage .....sucks, sucks, sucks !!!!!!
  11. With the length of your trip I would consider adding another 45 min. On it and go to henderson harbor. When I was fishing a smaller boat this was the go to area. Lots of sheltered areas and VERY good fishing. The hardest part is deciding what species you want to target.
  12. Wondering what people are using to fire up there glows, just saw a tv add for the "no-no" hair removal , thinking......
  13. My first set of Scottie riggers , that went with the boat when I sold it , where 15 yrs. old. Used very hard and a lot. The two things that were done to them was1st. - replaced the drive belts, one time 2nd- removed the glaze from the clutch disc 2 maybe 3 times. I haven't had to touch my new ones for the two yrs. that I have had them. Running 15 lb weights. Needless to say but they are great riggers for the price.
  14. I like them even if the fish don't! Always have UV in the spread somewhere.
  15. Thanks for spilling the beans, gonna have to cut my list in half now!!!!
  16. Can't fill my shopping list until Sunday?
  17. Would someone please post the physical address for the lotsa show, it's on the 23rd.or is it a two day ?
  18. My brown set ups are a 500 LC Shimano on a 6 1/2 ft light action rod, they are REALY fun for the browns and steelies, the reason I run line counters is for the three lines per board. I can keep the leads the same thus reducing crossed lines.
  19. I wouldn't be so negitive if they stocked as many walleyes as they do tigers, check out the Pa. Stocking numbers for the north branch of the susky, unbelievable how many they place in this water shed, does not give the natural reproduction a very good chance for survival .
  20. Just saw a news report that there are 17 miners trapped at the salt mine in Lansing, prayers are being sent for a safe rescue!!!!!
