Thank for the reply. We had a tough time catching fish last fall and I am sure there were many reasons for that ! These are the fist riggers that We had ever owned and was not sure if that was normal or not but thanks for clearing it up!

The boat that I purchased a year or so ago was equiped with Cannon Digi Troll IV's and they seem to work fine though they seem to make a humming noise when in use. My question is -- does the humming scare the fish and is it only the Cannons that make the noise or is it typical with all riggers. Thanks in advance for the help!
