Chas Same to you. Launching at joans was always a pain by myself. The new launch at state park makes it nice. I think some trips toward the end of July and Aug will just be me. When I know those dates I let u know.

Nice fish! By July I start targeting small lakes up there. This year might half to keep playing out in lake. This was the best walleye fishing up there I can remember in a lot of years. The niece and nephew are coming up for July 4, hopefully get them on some perch, they like that fast action!

We will be up July 4 weekend.,( For 5 or so days ) guessing out in lake. Lots of trailers at isthmus. Good luck this weekend.

After doing so well a couple weeks ago we started off with same program. Did not even move a rod. So we decide to get out of deeper water and Go shallow. ( guffins bay) put small sticks on for bass. After a couple small bass , the most inside board goes 6-8 feet of water. 7lb eye..1:30 in afternoon with sun blazing. Work area for couple more but no luck. Finished day with small bass, rockies, chain pic. Was in pillar point derby so ran over there to see if walleye would place. As we got there 6 lb was bottom of board but was not long when some fish close to 12 came in. Was thinking I would just make the bottom. Until one more cooler walk in at five with 4 nice ones! Think biggest bass was over 6 lbs. Lots of nice fish!!. Some came from bays and river. It tough to be a weekend fisherman up there. Hard to find info. Lots of area to cover. But just looking at some of the fish being weighed What a excellent area to fish.

@ pap Out of small boat harbor. Just put some leds on my boat. Only problem with too many it bring the bugs in! Fishing around buffalo is nice with all the lights off city and rt 5. Keeps it form totally darkness. The five we let go were 14.5 to 14 inches. Hoping to get back out!

Went out Tues night . Pick up two drifting before dark. Ended with 8. Had 5 after dark that were too small. ( always a good sign) pick up silver bass, sheepshead too. Not quite the size of up north but some good eaten. Biggest was around 28 inches.

Decided after last weekend had to get back up there. Long drive Friday night just keep thinking would they still be there. Fri night could not sleep like a little kid before Xmas. Hit water about 7:40 am Headed right out to are spot. Made two passes over it and nothing..starting too think ... o no! Thrid pass outside planner goes. Nice eye right to the back of boat ..in net... then nothing but stick bait...fish gone..after that it was down to business limited out by noon! Went 6 for 9 on walleyes. Work on roof and fish docks with kids rest of day. Sunday 5:30 am hit 2 right away then slowed down. Water flatten right out. Moved deeper .By 11 had are 2 man limit. 6-7 on the walleyes Sticks & spoons did the trick for us. Sat. Fish weight was 37lb 9 oz of fish!! Had one just under 10 but was under double digits ( by fall we will add a couple oz telling the story! Lol) Pike sm.bass perch silver bass keep us busy. Big perch on Sunday ( chk pic). Dad, I & eyes are sat pic. Kids & eyes are ones from sunday. One perch was just over 14 inches. Two bass over 5 lbs. Great weekend!! So close to having a sick day monday.

Had a lime green , purple, and blue out...scorpions spoons. From all reports think they were hitting everything.

Sticks on boards spoons on riggers. Had everthing going had seven poles out and had five all go off within a minute or two ..lots of smallies ( good to see) wish I did not have to come back to work"

Chas- Going to try for Friday to Monday. When I left yesterday was still cool up there compare to home. Hoping to spend some time on water this weekend. Stop at bass pro to look for ur stickbait they were sold out ( lol) you ever use the rattling ones? Pap - thanks I can't wait to get my daughter out just waiting for it to be a little warmer and less wind! This pics are last year at 3 years old. She is as crazy as her dad is about fishing.

Fished sat. 24 and sun. 25. 20-30 fow. Chaumont bay. Eyes, pike, bass, perch, brown tr. Best was 10 lb 7 oz eye! Some pike were pretty nice. Drop alot of fish. Most walleye were only grabbing back hook. ( slower troll but then no hits??) But great days out! So good think i might half to try next weekend! Few pics

I think I seen him ( blue top on it) did not talk to him. You going up this weekend? Did not wanna get to close in case he had lines out. Couple guys I talk to said they limit out the weekend of the 10th.( You know should of been here last week). Hopefully it warms up a little and dries up!

We fish bay this weekend (we had five boats) only got one eye. Pick up some nice bass. Couple guys rock some big bullhead. Lots of trolling had some nice marks just could not move a rod over them. Think weather did not help. Be back on Thursday to Tues. Hope they turn on.
