I actually do not object to the increase. NY has reasonable fishing license prices compared to some other states. We actually have a managed fishery that we all benefit from. I am pretty sure that a bunch of states do not even close seasons around the spawn. Enjoy what we have as many come from out of state. I just looked at the fishn chip I purchased with a 14XG Great Lakes and Maritime off of eBay a couple of weeks ago. It appears to not have the finger lakes on it. RED

Greetings gentlemen I will be covering my 18' open bow boat and storing it outside for the winter. 1)My plan is to install wood, aluminum or fiberglass slats to support the cover. 2)Cushioning the sharp windshield edges with tubing insulation. 3)Laying a tarp over all of that. 4)Installing a Sterns 4 year warranty cover over the top of that. Doe you see any issues or oversights with my plan? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! RED

Guys When I power up one of the digitrols it moves up/retrieves on its own. When I say it moves up it moves all the way up and stalls. If you try to manually send it down as soon as you let off the down button its moves up all the way and stalls. Does that indicate it is broken? The display works. Can you tell if it is a Digitrol 1, 2 or 3? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! BIGRED

Has anyone had any success downloading and installing maps on your electronic charts? http://mapper.angling-technologies.com/interface.php I noticed options for saving the data in different manufacturer's formats and also raw data formats but none specifically for Humminbird. My interest is the ability to put the data on an sd card and install in a low cost plotter. I have always liked Humminbird and am wondering how I would go about that. Thank you! RED

It does not end after the marina. Earlier this year DEC was using radar to enforce. Keep in mind it is 6MPH MAX and NO wake. If you are under 6 and casting a big wake you will ticketed as well! Enjoy the Genny. RED
