Yes it was the Great lakes tackle supplies video! Familiar bite cutbait has been very good on the lake this year! There are other options,but the Familiar bite has been very good! Familiar bite cut bait is cut to Rhys Davis specs! Tom Davis has been working with Great Lakes tackle supplies! The new strips hold up very well! I have taken strips out of the water and put them back into the pack,then reused them again! These strips can also be thawed and refroze many times,without any of the quality taken from the bait! If anyone wants to brine their baits to be even more firm thats an option to! I think fresh is best! [ Post made via Android ]

Sushi flies rock!!! The strip in no way hinders the action of the fly!!! Just make sure you have a good lead length from the flasher to the fly so it still has good action!!! There is something about having a fresh fillet on the fly that big kings like!!! [ Post made via Android ]

Tim I had the last two weeks off an man the fishing has been outstanding! Congrats on the big fish! We weighed in a fourth place steelie with 20 minutes to spare today! Hey Weenie there is a great replacement on the market and it is Familiar Bite Rhys Davis cutbait strips! It has been rockin out of Olcott on Lake Ontario! I wont leave the dock without it! Tom himself has fished these strips on the west coast and has cought fish on them! There are alot of people that have never fished meat before on the lakes and don't realize that meat strips will soften up when fished! Its not a spoon or a fly! Hey J that flasher in the first pic aint no spin doc!!! Anyway its been insane out there in that deep water. The wife and kids have loved reeling in all the fish we have been crushing out there!!! Todd

FAMILIAR BITE!!!!!!

Yes I know how to run cut bait and have been running it since 96!!!!!!!! Just to let you know Chinook!!!!!!!! The fish just seem to prefer the FAMILIAR Bite over the cut bait!!!!!!! My program is catching fish like crazy out there!!!!!!! Iam on the lake four to five times a week so I have had plenty of time to play with the cut bait and the FAMILIAR bite!!!!!!!! When I am pulling big kings out of the water and alewives are popping out of their mouths and they had to eat just one more and it just happened to FAMILIAR BITE that opens my eyes!!!!!!!! Fish on bait falls apart and is brown with no scales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have fished the new cut bait along side FAMILIAR BITE and the kings never touched the junk fish on cut bait!!!!!!!!!! As a mater of fact we caught a 14 and a half pound steelie on the familiar bite today but after the derby hours to weigh a fish were over!!!!!!!!! We also have caught many 20 pound kings on the alewives!!!!!!!!! FAMLIAR BITE baby it works!!!!!!!!!!! The cut bait quality is poor and the FAMILIAR BITE baits are premium quality!!!!!!!
