  1. Wow if u were only that detailed at the dock we might of done a little better, lol. Great job this weekend guys. And i think that it was your buddy that gave us that walleye Saturday night, and that was the best i ever had. That stuff was like candy, compliments to the chef.
  2. My partner and i made a couple extra dollars this year and we were thinking about getting the cannonlink system for our boat this year. i don't know much about it and i don't really know who to talk to about the system. i read all i can read about it i think but its nice to get real opinions.
  3. We heard rumors of that 29 pounder at Olcott. Good job guys love the detailed reports, keep em coming! And what does the nk that spoon look like!
  4. Good job guys we fished the scotty too. I read ur blog all the time and i appreciat all the info, were just weekenders mostly so the info is good to know. Our team is "balls out" and our boat is "balls deep". It was our first tournament we ever did and let me tell u it was pretty exciting and really intimadating. We finished 19th the first day with a 65 pound box. We fished right out front at about 275 feet of watter running the usuall 30 to 70 down. We got smoked the second day with a 20 pounder and 2 dinks. It was the lack of knowledge. I never heard of fishing down over 100 feet. How does some one come up with a program that finds fish that deep. I was taught that fish that deep were inactive and there was no reason to even try for them. I like to think we do pretty good but i know there is a lot to learn so any insite would be great. Good luck at all of your up comming tournaments.
  5. Our fishing team this year entered our first derby, it was the fall LOC. We caught a 31.14 pound king and it got us a 10th place finish. We were 11th but for whatever reason we ended up 10th. Anyway, after we caught it, we fished another hour or so. Was that bad? We filled the cooler with water and by the time we got it to a scale it was about an hour and a half later. We didn't think it was as big as it was so we kept fishing. People tell me that a fish looses weight after it is caught. Is that true and if it is how much and how fast.
  6. Just had a couple of questions for all those guys i look up to in the marina. How do u guys add rig a double dipsy out one side. I run an inside mono on the 1 setting and an outside wire on the 3 setting it seems to be ok but i just wanted another opinion. Another thing is the "black box". Is it worth having? It seem it to me just by the things that i have read, but i don't know anyone with one. And the last thing is those J-plugs i have i couple of em but never hade any luck on them. I just didn't know the best way to rig them and the best speed to run them. What seem to be a good color cause the ones i have are pretty old. Thanks for any info, good luck out there!
