Made a last min choice to head to sodus instead with calm winds. Not much shallow bt action but Doubles and steady action on Lakers . 10-20 lb range ! Cowbells and spoons . They wore dad out !

I will be out there. was going to hit Sodus but NE winds will prob make that a pretty bumpy ride. Have a new gps I just installed and gotta try. Anyone doing anything on landlocks and browns on north end?
that sucks about the camper, sorry! C wait to see the new rig. Can you shoot me a text sometime wih your #? when my iPhone died I lost a lot of contacts that wouldn't transfer.
That's interesting that the bait is that deep Mike. I never checked out there. The two I kept for the grill were empty stomach, typical spring just a few weeks behind. Hope its prime or Memorial Day weekend! 42.6 surface btw
Fished north end sat am. Started right off the chamber with a landlock,bt program with the big boards shallow. Not a release. Crystal clear water. Trolled up the east side, got desperate and dropped the copper in starting in 90'. Took five mins for first laker then it was a slow pick from 90-110 fow. 5/5 biggest was just over 10. Broke off 300' of wire and a great Lakes #4 silver /blue right in front of pump house if anyone drags it up can't wait to get back out .

so on another topic is the chamber launch open? heard there was a bunch of construction equip in parking lot. Also are the docks in at the state park yet?
All the lakes are def changing for sure. There seems to be less smallies too in Seneca from what Ive seen in years past but I haven't fished them much last year. Of course my panfishing now consists of two little Barbie poles and hearing "hey daddy" 500 times lol
this site is about fishermen sharing advice and fishing reports. Sounds like darkwater does that . Its not about lying to fellow fishermen at the dock and organizing some black lives matter protest outside of a well established marina with a great rep. Not trying to start a fight just my opinion . Good luck to all
I agree with the journal. We keep a dec angler diary for trout on Seneca and Canandaigua lake. Always enter water temp, depth and speed in the comment sec. Always good to refer back to for years to come
I grew up fishing Seneca , 80% of the time trout but some perch here and there not really my thing. It seems from what Ive seen its def in a down cycle IMHO. My dad has been nagging me to go out perch fishing with him. Prob will a few times . Maybe I should hook him up with you during the week Les
