I have given up one those fools who still want to live in a cave.. I pointed out to day , I want to see all 6 rods out top lining with out tangles

Shore line 365 miles, width will vary from 1 to 5 miles depending where your at on the lake. The lake is 4 rivers that all come into one and a dam on the one river. The lenght from the pit arm to the dam well over 25 miles. That would be from east to west

Reply #6 - Today at 3:28pm Quote to be honest....thats kind of rude. taking up 600 feet of water way is no way to fish a freshwater lake. i can understand doing that in salt water.

Rocks and tree stumps. Out here when going for browns is a nasty job. Lots of lost tackle
-
Well headed to the lake for browns, Lost 4 stickbaits, 3 spoons and 2 bucktails, I said screw the browns and went after rainbows. Lost 3 at the boat and landed one. But all in all it was a great day on the water. I was the only boat all day off the lake at dark.

Yes they do stock them in the rivers, There are to many dams for all natural . Some of the fish hit small creeks like this one did, befor the hatchery . But the majority are done at the hatchery. The main river for that fish is the Sacramento. Some other rivers are the Trinity, Klamath, American and there all have dams.
I also agree with Jimski2 thats one of the major problems out here on the west coast ocean. It is fish so hard, with nets it's cut the food supply down for the Kings . The seals are another problem . They follow the Kings and Stripers miles up the rivers and feed on them , and thats a sight to see a 25lb fish being tossed up into the air.

The state closed the rivers for fishing this year, do to the low salmon count
-
Lakehead California 3.36 per gallon.
we have all the clean air crap in the gas . Thanks to the tree hugers

Battle creek is just south of me about 50 miles. The sacramento river runs throught our property. The state closed Salmon fihing in the river this year and off the coast. Other wise that thing just might be in the dishwasher being steamed or the refrigerator out back being smoked
