I'm setting up some Lead Core rods for walleye. I'm using Seagate 50 size reels but I'm looking for some Rod recommendations. It seems like these copper Lead Core rods are very Stout and too stiff for walleye. Even for a big 10 lb walleye it just seems like Overkill

That's good to hear .When I spoke with a gentleman there he said they were selling their inventory and shutting down.

Anyone know why they shutdown and if it will reopen .

Any idea what this would be from. Took this fish off a downrigger today. The blood is from the hook that we removed but this is how he came in the boat. I have no idea how it even eats or took the lure. Any idea what would cause this

Skunked on Monday.  80 to 110 feet fish everywhere but no luck . Took a good rip on the Dipsy and missed one on the downrigger but other than that I trolled for 5 hours all the way past the power plant. Going to give it one last run Saturday

Coming up Monday any info would be great . Don't want to make the trip if it's been slow . Thanks to all 

Is it just me or have the Wave Forecast been horrible for the Oswego area this year. It seems like every weekend there's a huge blow and it's not worth my drive up from 2 hours away . 

I loved mine up until they opened rifle in our area. Remington 2  3/4 accutips shot by far the best out of it. I dumped a deer at 165. She never even moved from her spot. In my opinion it is the best shotgun for deer hunting out there

Are you pre baiting your trap with the doors open? That is the key part to catching pigeons. They need to feel comfortable going in and out of the Trap and then you close the doors.

So I was cleaning my freezer yesterday and took out four packs of n & d cut bait and set them aside while I reorganized everything. I went down there today and realized I left all four packs out for over 24 hours. The vacuum seal is still intact and they look okay. I put them back in the freezer do you think it will be okay to use. Thanks to all

Had my bilge pump kick on this morning while fishing. I didn't think much of it until they kicked on a second time 10 minutes later. I opened up the back to find water coming in my boat pretty good. I tracked it down to a cracked cover on my washdown pump. The cap comes off the housing and there's a screen in there to clean it I never even knew about. Apparently it's some sort of removable filter. I must not have drain to properly over the winter. Any idea where I could get the cover from I have a call in to the dealer but I'm sure I'll be paying top dollar.
