  1. Looking for a newer used 196 with the 2 jump seats at the stern, preferably with a four stroke merc or Yamaha and hydraulic steering.

There was a crestliner commander 2050 on here last week . I have the same boat and its awesome. I compared both the fish master and the commander 2 years ago . I think the commander is a better boat . No plastic on the boat at all . Everything is welded and you have more deck space because the windshield is pushed forward like a west coast boat . Just my opinion though

  2. I have a Foxpro and a motorized decoy just never had the time to really do it. I've trapped a ton of them but this calling them is a whole different game. Thank you

    Don’t quit. Kill one.
    You will, play the wind.
Use a decoy. Something as simple as a turkey tail feather on a piece of fishing line off a stake.
    It will happen.

  3. Had some action last night. Called in a solo dog on first set, had some responses on second set, then a double on 3rd set. Downside, no dogs hit the dirt, but always fun to have the opportunity.
Thinking of giving it a try at night for the first time. What kind of lights are you using or do you have night vision on your rifle scope. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

  4. Why would you use a snubber  on anything but a dipsy ? And I don't like them on that .

A snubber can negate a good Hookset  .

Never used a snubber on a Dipsy that much . I never had good luck with them either. But this particular brand came recommended. I just bought them to have. And possibly try at some point. I bought the downrigger snubber to run with my high speed. Mag 10 STX and 16 lb weights. It takes a ton of stress off of your equipment and boat.
