  1. Try putting some spoons in the freezer over night, and keep em on ice till you hit the water. I remember as a child, all my glow in the dark toys, and stickers charged up the best by freesing them!!
  2. Yes they are for sale. I have lots of them too! They all must go, to make way for the new models! reg 4.50 rigged, $4 un-rigged, mag 6.50 rigged, 5.75 unrigged. Paint will withstand, a beating. I've beat my prototype spoons with hammers, ran them over with lawnmowers, layed them on train tracks. Paint will never come off... . First off great job on the spoons. Hows about telling stinnger where you got your paint some of well most of there paint washes off with only water then throw a fish in there holy crap the paint is gone. Lol I only wannted to say they look great good job.[ Post made via Android ] LOL, I hope stinger continues to use childrens water based paint! Theyre spoons are getting worse by the day, mine are getting NASTIER by the day. Most spoon companies take a year to make new spoons, I make 20/day! Every one I make is a bonafied KILLER! Just too many ppl think the actual spoon blank is whats getting the fish... Soon enough they will realize the blank is all in they're head.... soon enough this will all play out, everybody who has purchased once, has been back, again, and again, and again......
  3. No I don't. I don't use a top coat all the time, when i do, it is the most indestructable top coat availible anywhere... Super pricey too! Most if not all of my colors come out hard and glossy, so a top coat is never really needed... Gotcha..I have been getting into painting some casting spoons. I have a real cheap air brush set up and only use acrylic paint. I'm looking around for a decent clear coat. I know for sure my paint wont hold up. Your spoons are pretty damn cool! Good luck with selling some. Try baking them, or use an epoxy topcoat. You have to put your spoons on a rotating drying device, and hit them with a hair dryer to get the bubbles out though. Lot of work, but it'll help your spoons last a bit longer! Bob

  5. So, when it comes to spoon colors, what do you guys like? I've been painting them for a little bit now, and to be honest, I'd rather make spoons that fisherman want, rather than make spoons that fisherman are stuck buying! Over time I plan on having a few 100 designs, and color schemes. All painted in a small scale style business, rather than a massive corperation, or company, that doesn't care what the angler really wants. So, what makes a good spoon, a good spoon.....

  9. Ok I'll bite, heres 2 of roughly 30 new designs I have. Glow/UV make the fish happy! If these glow spoons wouldn't take limits of fish.... Well, they just plain and simply DON'T EAT!!!
  10. I got some spoons that I painted up now that are off the hook!! I'd post them, but too many companies are lurking, and looking! Although, I can make new patterns faster than they're paint falls off!! LOL
  11. I still have quite a few blanks left if anybody is interested?
  12. I just powder coated up a few waddler paint style spoons if anybody is insterested? Rigged or unrigged got em either way!
  13. You may be able to contact Rapala and tell them about it. They may replace it?
  14. Its a blend I put together of glow and UV. Don't think you can buy it like that?
  15. Heres some pics of a few new glow/UV spoons styles I made up this morning. Let me know what you guys think of em, or if something should be changed up a bit? Same spoons under UV lamp UV light UV Light
  16. Now if you notice the after picture, on the left side, I hit the spoon so hard that the metal was squashed completely flat. The paint that is missing went flying off the spoon with the metal debris that came off the spoon!
  17. An hour ago I painted up 2 dumb casting spoons. I chose them because they are heavy, and the thickness of the spoon can handle the beating I put on it. I just lazily sprayed a couple colors on them so you can see the before and after of destruction! Here is the before picture The destruction Video. Sorry about the static, my wife shot the video with my phone, and the sound stunk! The after photo [email protected]
  18. Heres a few I free styled yesterday. All of em are rather glow, or UV paint
  19. Hi guys, my name is Bob Fuller. I am the gentleman who painted up Bazookajoe's spoons for him. I have been reading some of what has been happening with your orders on spoons on here, and it sounds like a nightmare. Either not getting the items you ordered, or all the paint flaking off your spoons. i just wanted to let you guys know I would be more than glad to help out in any way I can. I'm starting a small business and I'm trying to get it off the ground. So if you guys have any input you would like to share on color combos you would like to see, glow, UV, ect please feel free to let me know! All of the spoons i paint are painted using powder paint, and heat treated to a maximum durability finish. No flaking!! If you would like to see some of the spoon patterns I have created, or would like to see some replicas of others I can put pics up for you. i can also paint both sides, front and back of your spoons, with the back side being one solid color! I hope I can help out. Any questions fire away! Bob [email protected]
