  1. 2009 model I bought off Billy V over the the winter, since then my plans have changed. He fished with it 4 times and I've never taken it out of the box. Comes with mounting base, swivel base one back mount rod holder, 400' of cable and both ends for power hook up. Sells new for $1100---it is new and I'll let it go for $650 + shipping or arrange pick up.
  2. Nice fish Scott, you gotta love a "shake down" trip with results like that.
  3. Jason,Nick, I did alot better than I would have had you two not helped me out. We only did 6 fish on 8 wacks but I learned alot about the south end for just one day. You two really shortened my learning curve alot. Torwards the end I dropped down to 100 '+/- and 330 on the wire and started finding the active fish. Thanks again. Rollie, The rules are posted on page one of this thread but to answer your questions: start and stop time is up to you for that day, you weigh your own fish and send in the results, if you have a monster and want to send a pic that's cool but not part of the rules. As for as fishing on Team Cayuga that's fine too, but Seneca needs some more boats if you know anybody that might be interested have them post, and I'll get them signed up. Now finding somebody to put up with--your on your own there partner.. Welcome aboard if you need anymore info just pm me or call 607-222-8889. Mark
  4. 26 days and counting.------Jason and Nick thanks for the info Saturday, you guys really help shorten the south end learning curve for me. Two of the three guys I had with me were first times and even with the wind they are both talking about the next trip. I'll be back up this weekend, hopefully I'll catch you guys at the launch. Thanks guys. Mark
  5. Looks like a great way to spend the day, congrats.

  9. Jason, that whole work thing is such a drag but we all understand. That said, when we wrote the rules we did it so that teams can change week to week and if you can handle fishing for that "other" lake I've got a spot for you for the day. Hopefully things change so you can fish with us but if not at least it's a taste of it to hold you over til next season. Mark
  10. final flight, if i got the dates right this is scheduled around the scotties and pro-ams. the 1st schedule out conflicted with the catherines event but i eliminated that day so we could get you big tourney guys. im not doing the scotties but i will be at the pro ams so im sure those dates are good. check the dates and hopefully you will be able to join us. mark
  11. Bob, All right Bob, I get home from the lake this afternoon and I've got two nice LL to cut up. Wife says I should make dinner so I make a list from your post run to the store ,a little over an hour later I hear from the little missy'" WOW you should do all the cooking." When you get your cook book together please let us know I'd really lke to purchase a copy for my wife. Hands down the best chowder I've ever had, any thing else is a very distant second. Thank you for sharing. Mark
  12. All right gentlemen, the fee for this years Cayuga/Seneca Cup is $50. All of you that I asked to hold can go ahead and send it in. Those of you that still need a mailing address pm me and I'll get it to you. OK rules, schedule and fee's are set, now I hope no one minds me throwing the first jab. We on Team Cayuga would like to thank all of you Team Seneca guys in advance for your $50 donations.
  13. Justin, got you down for that OTHER team, welcome aboard. L J
  14. Yes it's $25 for the whole thing. Once again I was trying to keep it cheap. If you want I higher payout we could go to $50, that was my first thought, works out to $10 an outing. The first change today dealing with "missing" a scheduled date is a go.(see earlier posts) If we get 5 positve responses to a $50 league fee that's what it will be. However that will be the last change. If I get 5 yes votes I'll redue the rules and then start collecting the money> Pm me and give me an e-mail address so I can send you payment info. Thanks L J
  15. Have to fish on the same day so the playing field is the same. I would however ask everyone what they think about this. If you miss one of the five days, I realize life can throw the ocasional curve ball I propose this. If it's the first week you miss, I'll give you half of the weight of your next league fishing days heaviest fish. From day two on I'll give you half of you last posted heaviest fish. That keeps everybody on the water on the same days and doesn't leave you with a goose egg if you can't make one of the dates. Not the best situation but I think fair. Is this ok with everybody? Mark

You can fish with a different crew each week. Your wife then girlfiend then divorce lawyer it doesn't matter 5. ALL money collected will be paid out. 19. Stoutner With the format we have inplace you can release your fish, we made sure of that. It's going to be by wieght on the honor system. Photo's would be great but I don't want to see anyone left out because they don't have a digital camera or know how to post the pictures. The rules and format I'm sure will be tweaked year to year but for now what has been posted is this years starting point. I hope you join us and help this thing grow into what I hope is one hell of a good time. Mark
  20. Scott That's a good idea for the August 14th date. I wasn't sure if Barney was going to do his fall derby this year but that was what I had in mind for one of the two September dates. If he's not doing it this year I'll change the all Cayuga date to Aug. 14. If you hear anything please let me know. Mark
  21. Here are the dates for this years Cayuga/Seneca Challange League. This year it's going to be only once a month until September when we will go back to weekends all on the same lake. May 1 June 19 July 31 August 14 September 11 (Seneca) September 18 (Cayuga) It's time to get signed up. PM me if you want to get involved. Mark
  22. It looks like we can have a ten day event. Ten sarturdays with nothing else on the books excpt for the first one. April 24 is also the Cathrines Scotty, hoping that's not an issue. April 24 May 1 May 22 June 19 July 3 July 31 August 14 August 28 September 11 (All on Seneca) September 18 (All on Cayuga) I'll leave these dates out here until this friday for all to review and comment on. Monday March 22 I'll set the schedule. Get the word out to anyone who may be interseted in joing us so I can put the team list's together and get this finalized. I have no problem adding guys until April 17th. The guys that are please PM with an e-mail address. Thanks, Mark
