  6. Been way tooooo loooooong. Kade is home from camp now, so we'll have to get back at it. Just bought an old crusty trophy hardtop to fish with when weather gets iffy, been busy trying to get it rigged. Soon!!! Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. Just a tiny amount on the braid rods...so they're starting. Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Made a quick trip last night after work hoping the storms would hold off til after dark. Launched at T-falls and headed north at 6:30. Worked from 90 to 150fow for a bit, not much there. Starting to look kinda nasty to northwest so decided to make loop and head south working deeper water. Picked up an Atlantic and 3 small Lakers out deep. Things just starting to get good, north wind kicks up, really looking nasty and looks to be chasing us. Decided to pick up and call it a night. Got 2 rods in out of 9 rod spread when the wall of rain caught up to us. Must have rained an inch in the time it took to clear the rest of the rods. Rained so hard couldn't see shore in any direction. I think we could have jumped in the lake and stayed drier! Lol! Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Yeah...took him out today...missing my right hand man already. Gonna be weird fishing without him.Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. The Bobber boat will be there...and if I were you guys, I would wait til Lighthouse Derby to weigh anything...give em another month to pack on weight.:unsure: Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Kade & I held up better than I thought we would with only 2 fish to weigh. Couldn't fish Saturday and we too fell victim to the " we'll get a bigger one" mentality. We threw a couple decent fish back early in the morning that we should have kept....would have kept Scott behind us for another week. That's part of the fun tho. Sadly, my first mate leaves for camp next week so looks like I will be fishing next couple events solo or with rookies on board. Hey...I might actually get to reel one in!!! I think I remember how...:huh::unsure: Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Getting ready to fish...or work on boat?:rolleyes::blink::D Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Unfortunately...or, well, fortunately for the rest of you...my little fishing buddy leaves for camp June 25 for 7 weeks. We found this amazing camp for kids with special needs in eastern Pa, Kade went last year and it was a great experience for him and really helped him in many ways. Hopefully the Bobber boat will be there...not sure yet. Maybe I can get his twin sister Kieran to fill in. Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Kade got a nice 9.56 laker today. Needed 9.89 to get on Jr board. Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Kade & I just registered...the Bobber boat is in!! Don't have any pictures of the boat, but it is blue and white Triton 189 Walleye. Good luck everybody! Kyle
  18. And congrats to everyone else on the board! I would also like to say that to a handicapped boy, acceptance means more than anything, and you guys have done a fine job of making him feel at home at these events. For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Kyle
  19. Thanks guys...Kade was/is on cloud 9...especially after miserable start Sunday with the cold rain and no fishfinder/GPS. Thankfully luck was on our side! Hopefully he'll sleep this week with laketrout derby comin up. Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Kade & I got on the water around 10:00 and fished til 4:00. Launched at coast guard station...dock still not in...made it interesting launching with strong south wind and 2-3 footers rolling up the bay. A lot of clear water west of the bay, but did find a few pockets of colored water. Managed 7 browns, 2 Lakers, and 2 small Atlantics. Lost a few including a very acrobatic steelie. Biggest Brown was 10#, rest were 5-8#. It was neat to catch Lakers in 8 feet of water. Great day to be out. Kyle Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Are there any docks in close by where you could pick up a buddy after he dumped you in and parked the truck? Kyle
  22. Count the Bobber boat in! Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
