  1. Well what a season.... It was a long long long season I don't even know how many sits I did. At one point I did 10 days in a row sunup to sundown! only missing a handful of opportunities to go out the whole season. I hunted hard and passed up a LOT of deer, pretty much said if it's not getting shoulder mounted I'm not shooting it, this season had my sights set on a 5.5yr old buck at minimum and we all know those are few and far between in ny. And I know that one of these years I would get outsmarted by a mature buck and end up with tag soup! I had 4 different 4.5 year old bucks within bow range that most people would of shot in a heart beat and been very proud of. but I had the time to get out and didn't want to shoot a buck just to shoot a buck. I don't even remember how many bucks got the pass. I did end up hunting a lot of public land this year and was VERY impressed at the sign around and the bucks that are out there on public land! So if you ever get discouraged give it a try, everyone says it's over hunted, only once we hunted did we even see a single person in it when we were there! I did end up taking a trip to Pennsylvania with my buddy and harvested my first public land buck, a beautiful 120" 8 point that had someone's scrape rope all tangled in it! I also harvested 2 does with the bow and one with my muzzleloader! So I definitely have a full freezer! A lot of great memories and encounters that makes it all worth the long days! And make some changes to things for advance for next year! IMG_20251230_145009.heic
  2. Ugh that's sad to see!
  3. Did you guys words with him??!!
  4. I've had 2 different good bucks break off times in the last two days! One broke a g3 off like a week ago and his G2 two days ago. And a 4 year old broke off his G2 two days ago! I nicknamed him bully lol last year he was fighting every buck he saw as a 3 yr old. And he is starting out the same this yr as a 4 year old 🤣
  5. I hope so I'm nervous haha ! There was one buck who made it last year I did find his sheds. I have my heart set on him, really hoping he shows up, he should be a STUD this year! He was over 150 last year.
  6. Well I've been quiet lately but I have been out every day. Only missed a couple sits! Just nothing exciting yet.. did manage two good does so far with the regular bow. And seen some nice looking 3 year olds. Have a couple 4 year olds on camera but they are nothing special 120-130" deer that don't get me excited. 🤞 I find something on one of these properties that is worth shooting! Did find one nice 140ish 10 on some public land! Been after him a couple times! Did help a buddy out the other nice who night who shot a 9 point that scored 148! That was a nice buck!
