  1. You guys are Great!! Thanks
  2. I would like to try fishing the Bar everyone is talking about. Would someone help me out with where to go? Where to launch? Where to stay while I'm there? I fish mainly out of Fair Haven and Henderson but I have got a terrible urge to hit early King's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Thanks Iron Duke, I will have to make a decision here soon, I think I will turkey hunt in the morning and decide then.
  4. Does anyone know if the launch at Clute park is functional or is it swamped in? I would like to make a run up Sunday morning and run the boat to set up the autopilot.
  5. Is there any way to see pictures or a listing of colors you have available? Your Store tab on your web page does not work. Thanks
  6. When I use them I run one off each side of the boat, If I fish alone I reel up to the swivel stick the rod in a rod holder adn reach out to remove the leader with the spoon on it. If I have someone with me they reel and back up then I take it off. It is not the most exciting way to fish because you fight the big hunk of lead. I use them on the finger lakes only. Usually put them on when nothing else is working or if I'm fishing alone and get tired of only being able to run two lures on two rods the traditional way. You have to use real thin sutton spoons when you run them or you wont get good action.
  7. It is a rig rod, the swivels are for attaching a leader and light spoon every so many feet. That way you can use one rod to fish with five spoons at different depths. I use a one pound lead on the end and slow troll it.
  8. I would have to think the rack is mounted opposite of what it should be. If it was on top of the pinion and now it is on the bottom. I would not think the previous owner would have pulled the wheel to change the cable so it must not be that hard to swap it from top to bottom or vise versa. Mine attached bye four bolts.
  9. Thanks for the info guys, some of the locals are telling me there have been some majors taken today [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  10. I will be heading up to Fair Haven tomorrow, any news on where the fish are, shallow or deep? I usually run straight out the chute until I hit 100'. Any better ideas? Thanks
  11. My wife and I spent Friday and Saturday fishing Fair Haven, Friday we were skunked had a couple releases. Saturday we picked up a 6lb laker and got stopped coming in by the fish census group. They told us it was the second fish out of 50 boats. Depressing!
