Sounds like our week. We did have four matures for the week and the only good day was Thursday. Tough fishing after the turnover. You had a few pretty fish though.
Calling it a day. 8 for 8 with our most productive water between the glass house and Devils nose in 100 fow. Most productive presentation was meat at 90. Trolling east.
Had two more on a mag flounder pounder at 105 on our port corner rigger. Landed one. Also had a real small King so we finished the day 3 for 5. Inshore waters are showing good signs but e just couldn't find many fish today.
We have the ladies with us today so we stayed inside at around 175 fow. First hit was on a 42nd spin dr with a smith fly out 180. Lost that fish.
Next hit was on a braid diver out 100 with an orange spoon.
We had surface temp at 68 from the break walk to where we started fishing and 50 at 90 ft. Now we have 63 at the surface and 44 at 60 ft
50 degrees on the way out this morning and we didn't see 60 until past 300 fow. Went to the 32 line and had no action the first two hours. Than we got an 18 lb King on meat at 72'.
Then we got a 10 lb steelie on an orange spoon at 25'.
That was all we caught today. Temps on the way in stayed at 60 or above all the way to the break wall. Currents were wicked and a to time we had two divers and two rigger spoons tangled. Spent hours today clearing messes.
