This leads to one more question I have for you guys............it seems like Berkley Big Game is very popular at Lake O.  Last year I spooled up with 12 pound BG in the color green (for spring browns).  I was then running blue label flouro leaders at about the rod length (10 #).  The question I have is does the color of the BG matter?  Clear or Green?  My leader lengths are right around 9 feet.

Overthinking it.  I've used multiple colored main line (clear/green/chartreuse mono, green/yellow braid), never noticed a difference.  Even ran some of that mono straight to the lure, no leader.  Again, never noticed a difference, except the constant retying due to damaged line, hence the need for flouro leader.

When tuning my Blacks, I use my scale or trigger scale and set the release 1.75-2lbs for walleye and 4-5lbs for salmon (No rubber bands).  Depends if I'm pulling a spoon/FF/meat.  I also like a little heavier on the release, I think I get a little better hookset, but that's pure speculation.  Heavier set also allows me to crank down on the rod a bit more.

Will there be a shortage of Chinese food?

Most any would work.  I have an old school hero 2 maybe?  I've had it on the hard top, mounted on a rail, net, and 55ft deep while perch fishing. 

Sounds like there should be a 11% excise tax on cameras to go along with the guns.  A drop in the bucket, but more $ is more $.

I'm curious as to how the rest of NY would be, primarily financially, if NYC would just go away and be it's own little state.  Does anyone have any references as to how much tax revenue from NYC is used outside of NYC?  And how much tax revenue from outside NYC STAYS outside NYC?

I prefer the clear boxes.  Organize them by color/size so I'm not flipping through layers of spoons.  Plus, if someone leaves the Special Mate open in rougher seas and it takes a spill, not fun to clean up and reorganize.  I know from experience.
