I have a 8hp Honda on my Transom on a Starcraft star fire 190. Its super quiet with next to no vibration. Certainly not enough that I've ever noticed it or had anyone commenting on it. I run mostly walleye speeds of 1.7-2.2 with it so pretty low rpm but not idle.

Reel escape is a stand up guy, he met me 1.5 hrs from his place to sell me something. Most wouldn't do that.

Nice catch. Never followed the Quinte action before. Fall fishing has fresh moving in? Our SLR action is really starting to slow.
Still fish around, but you've really got to hunt around.
Quinte is a winter home for a lot of lake fish. They come back in the fall and stay till spawn is done in the spring. Then head back out into the big lake.

Let me guess, lower gap? Nice bunch of fish, congrats!
Upper gap actually lol
The shoals are dead now, fish are migrating to their winter spots.

Nice!

Absolutely fantastic fish, aren't you on the Canadian side??
Yes sir. Kingston area
-
Some fish from the last couple weeks on the north shore. Starting to slow down a bit now as fish are now beginning their migration patterns. Now it's a trophy game and not a numbers game.

Ottawa Ontario
Fishing Kingston-Wellington-Bay of Quinte area.

I fish the north shore from Kingston mostly so may not be the same but our fish are on classic late summer patterns and on the shoals or adjacent to them.
Typically 1.8-2.2mph SOG
Reef runner 800's 80-130 back
Flicker minnows 100-200 back
Go to the shoals or points that are close to deep water. I fish mainly 30-50 fow and keep baits down 15-28 in these areas.
Hope it helps

Anyone on south shore of lake o having luck on the shoals yet? Our bite is very late to the point that I'm concerned. I've had fish every July for the past 5 years or so and this year the spots are blank. No marks basically at all. Usually by mid July I average 5-9 bites.
Just curious if it's same state side. I fish mainly Kingston area to ducks and charity shoal.
Feel free to pm if you want, and no don't worry I won't be runnin to Henderson or calf islands etc. Tooooo far for me lol.

Caught 6 and lost 2 yesterday from 6am-1230.
Last week I caught 5 from 6pm-745pm
Def not a waste in evening and much less boats.

I'll be there from jul 3-9. Plan on fishing the bonnet area for sure. Hopefully it's a good year. The spring bite was much better than last year it seems in the west so that makes me optimistic.

Wait a second. There are no walleye in Lake Ontario. Nothing to see here. Move along now. [emoji13][emoji13][emoji13]

Well that just cost me a lot of money. Thanks for posting that Ed
Surprised to see the 900's being discontinued by rr

It makes sense and is called segmented lead core. That said you can let out 5 colours clip board on then let rest out. Unless you use big boards then your way makes more sense

Unit is sold. Thanks for the interest
