  8. Take the bar off the kicker. Tr-1 is stand alone. Unless you use your big motor to troll. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ah cmon Mike, the quinte eyes don’t even like them anymore. I can toss them out for ya. Just ship them to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I don’t see a problem with the manuals. I just wanted the security of auto. One accident where you get tossed from the boat or hit something may make a difference in life or death. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. We heard the call on the vhf in kingston Ontario but way too far to make it obviously. Very glad to hear the story ended positively. We do a lot of night fishing and it’s always a thought that you just never know what could be in the water just below the surface. We do always wear Inflatables when aboard the boat though. I’ve taught my kids the same and my friends aren’t allowed on if they don’t wear it. Just not worth it for how inabtrusive they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. As long as the eyes aren’t worn or have any markings from the wire you’re good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Hey folks. I picked these up today at Fat Nancy’s, I know you can troll them behind cowbells or gang trolls but I’m curious if it’s required or not? Anyone run them clean? Also what speed would you run them for early spring shallow lakers? Usually I’d aim for 2-2.2mph on the gps. Also grabbed some mag 4.5’s from Yakima to try this year. The itch is real! 18. Wow that’s a great deal. Won’t last long Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Loads of lakers in adolphus reach all year round. In sept they come in shallow from the lake. Awesome fishing in December when the season opens again. (season closes for spawn at end of sept) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I use 30lb braid. Fish the big lake and bay of quinte. Start in quinte at opener in May, till end of June then to the lake all summer and follow them back into the bay in November. Fleas are only a bad problem In July. You get some in August but you can have a line in for 30-45 mins without needing to clean it off in August. To me that’s not a big deal. Usually you’re catching or wanting to check/change baits anyways. I like the feel of braid better but it’s all personal preference. I also use the same rods for lakers/salmon which is why the 30lb and it’s close to XT for precision trolling app. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
