Thanks a gorgeous buck and besides the forked g2 ( which my trail pics, although not great do not show ) seems wicked similar to a buck i have (or had) lurking around. Don't want or care about specifics but would ya mind stating the county of harvest? Thanks....,

Thought you would like to know i saw a small buck (fork horn) this evening with both sides still attached. Southern seneca county. Not really sure what triggers the drop but i thought it had to do with decreased levels of testosterone. If its weather related i can understand why some bucks are still carrying racks although i haven't heard of any "mature" racks being seen recently.

fyi..., the avon anglers are holding a "jumbo" tourney on keuka lake march 31st. it appears to be pretty much the same rules as the perchmasters (fish must be alive and top 5 weighed). if interested check out avonanglers.com for info. also..., the dresden duckhunters club will hold their annual perch tourney april 14th and 15th. get out and support these clubs!!!!!! good luck fisherman

Hey guys..., don't get discouraged. My partner and I fished HARD all weekend, boated 1 on sat and 10 on sun. Fishing has been TOUGH all week. Cold, heavy northwest winds don't help. Spend time looking in 15-25 fow, a ton of fish are still deep, 45+. Don't forget fish must be alive for saturday's tourney if fishing deep h2o. Good luck!
