I was at my buddies house and he raises white tail and 2 of his bucks still have antlers and another 1 has 1 inch of new growth. Bill anderson in orleans county still is getting bucks on his cameras. We never did really get very cold this year,

Went out with my son and a buddy and hit the corn fields out in churchville. We shot mallards and 1 black. Did good on geese. If I could have shot better we would have limmited out. If u can find field u will do good.

U guys like hunting those little fellows. Try this with your kids it is a riot. Get some peanut in a shell. Tie them to end of your fishin rod and send it out. Cast it. Those guys go nuts tryin to get the peanut while you are reeling them in. The red squirels never give up. Give it a try .

Nice unique deer. A lot of times when a buck has a rack like that he usually has a injury to the opposite rear leg in the past.

Hunted montazuma last weekend and there seems to be a lot over there.. we got 2 but there color isn't there yet. Nice shootin and good bird. Keep if going.

I have owned labs for 15+ yrs. Iv had all three. They have been run in hunt tests and field trials. One thing I would suggest if u want a true hunting machine is that the parents are proven docs with titles. I might get some slack but u can take drive out of a dog but u can't put it in. I hunt late season with my yellow and he will outperform most dogs I know as of now. Cold water no probkem. Probably because be is a outside dog. Also make sure the parents are ofa very for hips and elbows. Puppys eyes should be cleared for credit when they are 6 weeks old. Any reputable breader will do this. Don't be afraid to look outside ny. I bought my primary birch in Calif. And breed to dogs that were down south. Good luck labs are great dogs. Off to montazuma in morning.

Hunted all day sat and 1/2 day sun. There r big bucks on camera but only saw a small 8 about 40 out. Only deer. I'm not expecting much till next weekend.
