I've had many very good hunting labs. 1st make sure it comes with a quality blood line and proven parents. All my dogs have come from field trial pedigree parents. These dogs are breed to work and are great at it. Mine also have been great dogs in the house. Health issues are nill to none. Now this is my opinion. Hips elbows and eye certified are a must. These also tend to cost a bit more. If you are interested I can̈ put you with a person in Georgia who once in awhile has pup.
Good luck with your next buddy.
