I took this morning off also, first no sit for me in a long time! Back at it this afternoon with this cold front moving in.

Did a bunch of babysitting this morning, covered up with fawns. 2 ND rack bucks also, unbelievable year for the two year Olds have never seen so many! Just got settled back in for the afternoon, a touch of wind would be nice. These 30 mph gusts are just little light.

Just had a big doe come in pretty much where the buck was , wind swirled like it always does and cya!

Just had "Ocho" the big 8 at 30 yards! Was with a doe when I was waking in. Had to sneak slow and climb in my stand hoping they were in the thick stuff where they couldn't see me. As soon as it the stand there he us at 40 yards rubbing a tree! I waited it out till I couldn't see him anymore and through 2 grunts at him. Within seconds he's walking right to me but holds up at 30 yards. Just stood there trying to find the deer who made the grunts. Then he turned away and I through another grunt at him and snort weezed, and the rest is history, off they ran out of my life in the thick stuff! Enough to make a grown man cry! A giant 8 pt!

Man I miss that tree!! Right by the big willow, corn Is alot different then the CRP that used to be in there.

Congrats longspur, great buck! And congrats on the little one! My wife new that there would be no kids born at my house during deer season ! Don't have to worry about that anymore!

Just left where I was this morning so i can go and hang and move some stands mid day. Just up the road is a stud standing in a cut bean field with a doe! Starting to get frustrated!

Within 10 mins had 7 yearling s come through. 2 mins later a spike drives 2 of them back out, another minute passes and a real nice 2.5 8pt comes out chasing one also, they stop at 60 yards and I watched him breed her!! Unreal the 2nd time I've Witnessed that!

Another great morning weather wise, only one doe at this point.

Pretty sure I had my first encounter with Blade 11 hours into my sit! He's a stud! 70 yards to far

I've see nothing since noon, and that was a 2.5 old just cruising. My legs hurt and my A $$ is sore! Ready for a Miller Lite after this sit!

That's a stud! Man I always forget how long these all day sits are!

Just had a doe and fawn come through, giving where I am might have to turn this into an all dayer

Trust me that deer gives me the chance my tag will be filled without a doubt.

The last 20 mins havr seen 4 different buck s, they are crushing good now like they usually from 9-12

Finally got some more picks of the deer we named Blade. This is the deer everyone said to give him another year! You guys still think so?
