Haven't seen a thing

Small 6pt just came by.

I climbed down at 12:30 for a quick break after only seeing 3 this morning. Back In the same spot i was this morning in hopes of a last sit bruiser before all hell breaks loose! It's been an extremely tough archery season to say the least but I love every second of it. If nothing else I think I have taken a few different pieces of knowledge with me to use In future seasons ahead. And hopefully the state will relies that what they did this season was beyond stupid and fix it for next. To many doe's my a$$. The buck to doe ratio is closer then I have ever seen it in monroe county. (Hope it stays this close for many years.) Congrats to everyone on here who has punched a tag this year, and it has been great having hunting buddies from all over the state sharing Info on LOU! Good luck in the next chapter to All and stay safe.

Moat people are worried about getting shot 2,3, and 4 off before they pull the trigger the 1st time. That's why I use the ol smoke pole! You get one shot and you better make it count.

I've a 2 doe and a button buck around me for the last 20 mins. Very tempting but it's bucks only today

I'm in for an all dayer more than likely. Perfect out, I'm back in where I missed the big guy last Saturday wind is iffy but last chance!

I'm not a climber guy as I like to just walk to my tree and climb up sit down stealthy as possible and not sweating. But that being said the climber that I have is heavy, noisy, a pain to use, and not that comfortable. I'm thinking of buying a new one that is complete opposite of all the things listed above. Any thoughts?

I'm starting to believe that the big boys like moving in higher wind conditions.

That being said it's a tough pill to swallow but I missed a big boy at 11 o'clock this morning. Hit another branch half the size of a pencil or smaller. Came through cruising the trail of that the doe I missed 2 hrs earlier. Finally get the chance and I blew it with a damn branch. Hurts really bad right now buy somehow managed to make myself get back in a tree tonight.

I really hate to say it but I gota feeling...... perfect bow hunting conditions..... today just might be the day?

I hope I climb in my stand in the morning and there is fox running by , hawks above, blue Jays on every branch, and red squirrels running up and down every tree!
