  1. That's weird, Do they say Saltwater on the sides in blue writing? If so those are geared toward Saltwater enviroments and I have seen them on alot on center consoles down south (some up here) and have some different parts in them to prevent corrortion they probably have a flush on them as well. If it's a direct injected 2 stroke DI it's an Opti. What does your cowling say.

The motors are on a CC, they do have flush fittings on them , as far as on the sides just says mercury.

  2. My last night fishing trip was about a month ago, it was a no moon night with three foot rollers, My boat has lots of extra lights and great electronics. But it was not to much fun.. Just a little sketchy there was a ton of crap in the water including a telephone pole!! We caught a couple fish and called it a night, a full moon and calm seas would make it much more fun. It's funny how your spotlight is just swallowed up by the darkness when you ate surrounded by water.

  4. Who has blue diamond 10' roller rods and 8'6" roller rods? Do you like them? Are rollers the way to go when running wire? Or should I stick to the cheaper blue diamond dipsy rod with no rollers? Planning on running dipsy's?

Also what reels are you running on them I was thinking okuma convector45's line counters?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated?

  5. Stoney and steelhead thanks for the info ..I was curious I am running 225's I am planning on leaving one off but dragging to slow me down. Was curious about the build up..... Both of you seem ok with it so I will try not to worry. Thanks for the info!!!
