Gonefishin, Mine are two stroke direct injection but when running the serial number it came up as sea pro 225hp ? I thought it was a optimax? Can't find anything on mercurys website.

What's the difference between a 225hp mercury sea pro and a 225hp mercury optimax?

My last night fishing trip was about a month ago, it was a no moon night with three foot rollers, My boat has lots of extra lights and great electronics. But it was not to much fun.. Just a little sketchy there was a ton of crap in the water including a telephone pole!! We caught a couple fish and called it a night, a full moon and calm seas would make it much more fun. It's funny how your spotlight is just swallowed up by the darkness when you ate surrounded by water.

Hi
I am out of port Ontario, about how old are they? how much wire on them?
Do you have any pics or model numbers
Thanks for your time
-
thanks for the input guys!
-
Do you guys ever have a problem getting the wire stuck on the side of the rollers because the tolerances are not tight enough

Who has blue diamond 10' roller rods and 8'6" roller rods? Do you like them? Are rollers the way to go when running wire? Or should I stick to the cheaper blue diamond dipsy rod with no rollers? Planning on running dipsy's?
Also what reels are you running on them I was thinking okuma convector45's line counters?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated?

The motors are on a CC, they do have flush fittings on them , as far as on the sides just says mercury.
