  1. Yeah, we had a good fish fry!
  2. Vacationed on Keuka last week and trolled a couple mornings . We did a slow evening pleasure cruise around the W branch of the lake early in the week to scout things out and then we found the fish in those same areas both of the next 2 mornings. We caught probably 15 lakers Wednesday in four hours of fishing and then Thursday morning we dialed-in on them right away, boating 20 lakers, including 15 keepers, in just two hours. Only lakers and none over about 22", but it was a lot of fun. 40-45' down over 120-160 fow was best for us and our best lure was an orange/yellow spoon.
  3. This situation prompted me to double-check my boat insurance coverage. I already had a special add-on to my boat policy for fishing gear, but I doubled the amount and it only added a $1.50/year to my bill. I also learned that according to my insurance company, a tackle box counts as 1 item--I wouldn't get paid for each of the lures inside it.
  4. Damn, that sucks! I hadn't heard about this until right now. I've kept a boat there for the last 15 years without a single problem. I used to keep a ton of gear locked in cuddy of my previous boat, but not so much much in my current boat.
  5. Still available. Now $75 each
  6. 2 New Mate Series 30 degree rod/cup holder combos. Awesome product with amazing reviews, just decided to go a different direction. Stainless steel and round up top. Stop post in bottom. Never used or mounted in boat. They're usually at least $110 each. Selling for $75 each
  7. Cleaning things out and don't need these items. $25 and must take all. 8. had 40-47 degrees in southern third of the lake on Saturday
  9. To clarify since I've had a few questions--The Strike Vision Rigger has coated cable and works with our without the camera rigged. So if you don't have interest in the camera setup, just use it like any other electric rigger and know that the bonus is coated cable... Thanks, Kyle
  10. Box of parts is sold. Downrigger Cover and pieces of boom still available...
  11. Deal fell through--still for sale.
  12. Pair of Walker electric downriggers in great shape. Both heavy duty, cleaned up, and tested. 1 is a Strike Vision version with underwater camera probe, monitor, 2 rod holders, swivel base, cover, and 4 ft boom. The second is a Tournament Series with auto-stop, single rod holder, fixed base, cover, original box, and 3 ft boom. Send me a pm.
  13. sent you an email earlier when you shared that before switching to phone
  14. Yep. Still available. Where you located? Send me a private message or give me your number and I'll give you a call.
  15. Ttt
  16. Thanks. Yeah they're definitely tough, simple riggers that reliably get the job done and are pretty easy to maintain and repair. Bert's custom tackle still sells their parts and some riggers. I've run Walker electrics for about 15 years now and would still be running them this year except I'm switching over to manuals that I transport back and forth on our new boat. It seems my wife, daughter, and non-fishing friends didn't like having downriggers and rod holders in their way all the time when we would go pleasure-boating : )
  17. yeah, the auto-stop feature has a silver metal plate with magnets and wires on it mounted right under the cable at the front edge of the rigger body that serves as the sensor and then magnets are clamped onto the cable in the appropriate position where it signals the drive motor to shut off when those magnets reach the sensor. I've never seen the kit for the auto stop sold separately to know if and how hard it would be to add to a rigger without it
  18. 1 White Cover-- $10 2 pieces of boom-$15
