    Looking to out fit the boat with some spring time brown trout equipment . Does anyone have any experience with either of these rods ?     Fished straight out of the gate in 150- 350 feet of water , went 7 for 12 all decent fish nothing under 12 lbs . Best was 190-250 depth wise , riggers from 51 down to 70 down did most of the damage with black spoons doing work early and then white/ green paddles with complimentary flies were the Work horses later on In the day . Divers took a solid 20lb fish 200 back on a chinook diver and a double crush glow spiny with a stud fly . Fished from 7am - 11am Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I’m sure this topic has been covered countless times but I’d like to hear from fellow lake o trollers what features/models you do or don’t like , everything I’ve been able to find was more geared to shallow water bass fishing . Currently have two gen 1 HDs 7 , running each as a stand alone gps or fish finder . Would like something with and 8-12 inch screen .
