  1. how & what needs to be done ?
  2. I have an EZ Steer connected from an Alpha I outdrive to a yamaha 9.9 kicker. When turning left the kicker is barely angles and with alittle bit of a wind won't turn the boat. Turning right the kicker turns just fine. When back at the dock I turned wheel to the left and noticed the tube compressed. If I detach the easy steer I'm able to push the kicker in either direction Any input would be appreciated
  3. I have been making them and have seen all the video. I have a ton of flies so cutting them down to 2.5" for teasers is no big deal. My only question was whether or not I needed a bead chain. At his point I think I'm going to add a ball bearing swivel roughly 18" above the meat head and tie the teasers above that. Put a loop on the flouro and attach that to the snap swivel on the flasher
  4. Decided this year will be the year to finally throw meat into the mix. And since I'm the kind of person that enjoys catching fish from something I make myself I thought I would look into making meat rigs. What I have done so far is started with 3 arms length of 50lb flouro, snelled a treble on, added two beads, snelled an octopus on then a dreamweaver meat head. Up past the head I cut 3 trolling flies down to 2-2.5 inches for my teasers and put them on the line by looping small beads. Now heres my question.......... do I need to use a bead chain ??? My thought was to put a loop at the end like when making flies and this loop would connect to the snap swivel on the flasher and this would prevent line twist. Looking forward to your input
  5. Small holder built from heavy gauge metal. Formerly an Army ammo can. Holder is water tight and comes with 18 dividers, enough to hold 108 spoons. Will hold stinger and stingray sized. Larger box comes with 27 dividers, will hold 216 spoons. Top compartments for storage of split rings or swivels. $30 for the small, $45 for the large. Pickup in Rome/Utica/Pulaski/Mexico Sent from my SM-J727P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Looking for recommendations on an autopilot for the above referenced. Boat has an I/O with rack n pinion steering
  7. I purchased a 4x2 folding table from Walmat. Folds into a 2x2 square making it easy to store down below. Adjustable legs and fits perfectly over my doghouse. I cut a hole to put my knives to keep them from sliding off. For $48 didnt think you could beat the price, table is made of HDPE. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Best-Choice-Products-4ft-Indoor-Outdoor-Folding-Portable-Plastic-Picnic-Party-Dining-Camp-Table-w-Handle-Lock-White/150299151?athcpid=150299151&athpgid=athenaItemPage&athcgid=null&athznid=PWVUB&athieid=v0&athstid=CS002&athguid=466001f5-29985e8c-2963a94ae74d01b2&athena=true

  9. This is my first, not done just yet. Was very easy, could tell you how to do it Sent from my SM-J727P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. For those of you that want a special mate storage box but don't think the $65 price tag is worth it. I am going to try to duplicate the box for a much lower cost. Might not be professional but will do the job. Standby for future posts in classified section. Considering gluing foam to top so that LED lights can be added to energize the glow spoons. The hunt for foam is on Sent from my SM-J727P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. What about an EZ steer ? Sent from my SM-J727P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Try the Alberto knot (Google the video). Very easy to tie, very strong, goes thru eyes no problem Sent from my SM-G930P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Kicker Controls Sticking I installed a mew yamaha 9.9 May 2014. Just recently I noticed two things... #1 when I go to put it in gear it doesn't want to go in gear, I have to put it in reverse then forward and #2 when pushing it forward I have to push hard to get it to move. You're thoughts are welcomed and appreciated !! Gettin' Some
  14. Was out trolling by the plant today, heading east. All boats were going east/west, except for one guy who wanted to troll south. I could see him off my bow in the distance, by the time I crossed his path I would say he was +/- 300 yards away if not more. I hear him on the radio alittle later saying I cut him off. So the question is this...... How much space should you give someone assuming they have copper lines out ??
  15. Bags are still available. If you need them shipped I believe shipping would be an additional $18 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
