trolling Lake Onatrio for salmon, walleye, steelies, browns. Tying my own flies, airbrushing my own tackle, putting others on fish is as fun for me as catching them myself. I travel to saltwater whenever I can because there's nothing else like it.

  7. Yah I definitely wouldn't be that guy I worked at Dicks in the lodge and a how ya doing, do you need help with anything? is a good enough, in this case, I have a good assortment of flies. Either people stick to what they know or want help but will in gage the conversation if they want one to be had. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Would tying up a bulk of flies and offering to sell them on the creeks be illegal or disrespectful? I personally got sick of buying over priced flies or ones that were not made with quality material. Having a hook break instead of bend if anything and multiple times really pissed me off, I also prefer angora yarn for my sucker spawn. Put together different color combos, make some with different weight bodies, and good thread. I just thought I like tying and don't mind helping out newbies. You can always learn something new fishing don't care how long you've done it. But back on topic I would still fish just throw it out there I have flies available once not 35 times being annoying. 9. I have all okumas from the classic downrigger, dipsey, leadcore, ect. I wasn't even aware there was a Coldwater rod. What is the length? I have a few of the reels and by far my favorite except Penn's. First if you don't mind me asking did you break only one? What application of fishing were you using? Down riggers, dipseys? And what pound test and did you ever use a twili tip? I think they make a huge difference. I had a classic down rigger rod break on me my second day. Mass manufacturing there's going to be some with imperfections. I am a fan of the triangular grip on the classics I wish more companies used it. I guess I will have to focus on learning some rod building this winter. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I was curious if anybody has hooked up off the piers yet or rumored to have. Curious on this year and when the run will start. I remember about 4-5 years ago it was late, I believe beginning of October if I'm not mistaken. I want to start tying flies and preparing but every year it's something I forget I broke, has a hole, needs replaced. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Yah I guess I will just have to see what boat traffic is like...I'd rather catch a few away from people then 20 dealing with people with no respect for others Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Heading out at 530am and reading reports people seem to be starting 100fow to 300....I usually start at 200 is this still a good starting point or is 100 a better idea...thanks for any feed back Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. please give me any feedback on this, I know its cut and edited together but any tips that would help get more views i would appreciate. I am now going to put what depth I am fishing along with the depth of my tackle. I plan on using this during the fall for fly fishing, i just dont know if anyone is interested in airbrush videos and fly tying videos due to the fact there are so many. Thanks for any feedback
  15. https://youtu.be/cP6KD0yDZ3Q well I'm unable to fish with surgery I put together a video of everything off of phones and go pro was just bought so most of it is the wrong timing or hit the wrong button. But tell me what you think I know next time to include what and where I'm using tackle. Sent from my SM-G935P using Lake Ontario United mobile app
