    I like the idea my only concern is there are no rod holders currently near the rocket launcher , and the base is 2-1/2 inch aluminum and I’m having a heck of a time finding rod holder that would mount to that diameter pipe Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Setting up a new to me boat. Currently the planer reels are mounted on the base of the tower for my rocket launcher mounted about midship or a little further back. My worry is that the angle of the lines will narrow my trolling spread or may even run into my dipsy lines being so close the rear of my boat. Has anyone ever made a mast that is mounted up front on the roof of the cuddy strictly for moving the planer lines forward to increase trolling spread width and clearance for rods ?     Actually now that I think about it as long as your not running any lead or copper off of boards, I would send the high diver out first then the low diver then if you choose to a rigger to the inside of that next Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    I run one on a zero or one setting , sending that rod down first as your “low” diver then the next one goes an a 2.5 or 3 setting as a “high” diver , usually with fifty feet or more of line separation in distance out from the reel Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Custom built 11’6” spiral wrapped bait casting rod . Built in 2017 on a rainshadow rx8 blank ,split grip cork handle, 6-10lb moderate fast action medium light power blank . 1/4-1/2 oz lure weight. Reel is an older quantum smoke 150 right hand retrieve.     I don't own one but I have fished from one,sea ray amberjack ,not a total all out trolling boat but very comfortable to fish from and may have some other amenities that your wife may like.     I'm live just outside of Buffalo but fish the oak quite often, if you have access to a pin I would at least toy around with it and see how it feels in your hands , I love mine especially fishing the Catt and the lower niagara Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    What size creeks and streams do you plan on fishing ? How long are the holes you plan on fishing ?i like to use a spin rod in super small streams or streams with super short runs , anything bigger I love my center pin for .... just curious what kind of rod do you use for your bait caster ?
