  1. I'm looking at a 2004 18' trophy, any pros and cons on this particular year and make Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. My last dog was a timber wolf cross with husky, an average wolf is well over 100lbs! And stands about twice as tall as a huge yote. No comparison between them. I agree with whistler, still a very nice yote. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Since I let that female yote have it the other 3 yotes wont come into the field. I know they are still there, just won't come out. They will get hungry enough soon. Feb. I put out booty call sent, they can't help themselves then! Shellfish oil gets them too Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  4. Mine too. 3 bald eagles all day and 1 fox a couple nights ago. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. The moose won best trailcam pic. O well, maybe next year. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Thank you, wish I could take credit but the trailcam does most of the work( the waiting in one spot for days) LOL Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Good idea, I just put it in Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Late last fall. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I heard rumors about insurance companies bringing them here to release to reduce the deer. Never heard anything solid, but they are definitely here! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  10. I have a pic at night of a mountain lion on a bait that I got a couple years ago. If I can figure out how to find it on my old desktop and pull it up so I can upload it here I will. Even though pa says there are none in this state! It's on a full size adult doe that was roadkill, it's almost as big! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  11. I always wondered why squirrels are so skidish! LOL Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  12. Got this off one of my trail cams before the deep freeze came Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I bought the alpha dog last year, I hate it! You can even hear crackling sounds in the background like an old record! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  14. Next weekend is a huge coyote tournament here in pa. Mostly central. A lot of guys spoiling it, they will be running dogs, and calling all night for the 3 nights. Some know what they are doing but most just educate them. Put out the bait and give it a couple nights for it to be located, do as little calling as possible. I rarely call them, but I seem to have a property that is a major route for them Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. They only just started showing up here, I don't know if it was the cold, or the wind. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  16. Yes, about a 35lb female. Came in to the bait alone with reckless abandon. But my wife wasn't happy, next time I'll tell her to go to the bathroom! ROFLMAO Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Just realized last night how much my wife loves when I shoot out my bedroom window at 2am! Burning hot brass bouncing off everything!!! LOL Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. That sucks! Here we only recently got the go ahead on semi auto, no big game, only varmint or small game. Nothing about stocks or mags Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I don't understand why no thump hole stock. I can understand no semi auto or even no detachable mag( if that's what you meant) but thumb hole stock makes no sense to meMy TC encore is a single shot but has a thumb hole stock Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. No, north east PA Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Simply stated its like $5k or more for a d cent gen 3 night vision scope. Not worth it for 99% of people Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Gen 1 and 2 suck, and gen 3 night vision optics are expensive to say the least. And not necessary. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  23. I almost never use a light when I have snow, standard 6x24x50 scope and I can see them perfect without a light. I hunt on my own property, mainly 3 fields with bait, my shots are rarely less than 200yds and I rarely need to shoot twice. Magnification is an issue. And I killed 9 last winter with a light Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Low power magnification, and it's fuzzy like viewing an old tv. And heavy and bulky.Plus you need a light anyway unless you sit there with the rifle up to your face. Unless it's gen 3 they are not that great. You bought that one before I could message you. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I tried a night vision scope, hated it. This red led nite snipe with a head lamp is what works best for me. I put a roadkill in the field behind my house about 200yds from my window. LOL. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
