Wow. What an experience and a great report too. Stuff that replays in your mind when you can’t sleep at night.
Great stuff -
I think another consideration for your setup is how often you’ll be on lake O.
Big difference between finger lake lakers and small bows than of the big lake. -
I get 5 or 6 years out of my braid. Not sure why the color fading with time is a factor?
Really boils down to personal preference I guess. -

Was limping coming through, not a giant but the the limp is gone.
I got the text at 5, loaded the quad and drove out for the recovery. Fallen tree in the lane way made me have to find a detour which on a dark rainy night was exciting. Fun stuff!- 1

Buck down for Billy

Billy bumped a buck on the way to this afternoon’s hunt. Looks like a great afternoon to be in the woods. Tommy’s heading in to film a friends hunt.

I would be curious to get Naititroller and other guys who do deer search recoveries opinions.

80 or 100 lb braid is what I run. Similar diameter to 30lb mono. Keeps the sea fleas at bay.

Not sure which of these are yours

How much horsepower is it rated for?

That’s awesome! Great job!

Pretty boat! No reason on calm days, with attention to weather, that you can’t fish Lake Ontario. What is the boat powered with?

Nice deer fellas!!
Got out with my son this am. Perfect conditions. Cold, crisp, frosty, and crunchy.
About 8 he texts me he hit one. Trolling thru woods w nose down. 18 yd shot. Pass thru and arrow is sticking in the dirt. We waited an hr and had a great blood trail. Went 100 yds. Cameras have been picking up the past 2 nights.
Great stuff. Can’t beat this time of year. Congratulations.
