  2. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: BITE ME ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): AUG 24 Time on Water: 3 Hours Weather/Temp: 25 Wind Speed/Direction: West Waves: Min Surface Temp: 69 Location: Bronte LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 5 Total Boated: 4 Species Breakdown: Kings Hot Lure: B.FULLER - KOS & Glow Trolling Speed: 3.5 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 30-90ft Lure Depth: 35 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Got out for some Friday night fishing because Afterschools was headed out in this neck of the woods and I could resist. Rods were silent until the "witching hour" just before sunset when the bite turned on. First rigger fired around 6:30 with a 21-22lb fish on deck on a KOS. Took a hard hit around the 50ft mark but nobody home so we headed in tight to see if we could hit another. Green and glow B.Fuller fired in 30ft of water about 15 down 150 back with a 20 something that looked as if it had already been in the creek for weeks. After that we decided to seek deeper water to find one last silver dollar before dark. In about 85 ft of water one of the riggers fired on the slider which we figured was gone by the time we caught up with the fish and then bang the other rigger fires for a big double headed. After what was nothing less then chaos - 3 tangles and lots of donations to the lake we put a pair of 25's in the boat to cap off a great night. Tightlines!

  4. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: BITE ME ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): AUG 22 Time on Water: 3 HOURS Weather/Temp:25 Wind Speed/Direction:WEST Waves: MIN Surface Temp: 75 Location: PORT CREDIT LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 6 Total Boated:5 Species Breakdown: KINGS & BOWS Hot Lure: KOS - AGAIN ! Trolling Speed: 3-3.5 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 80-120 Lure Depth: 35ft ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== The Sting has been on fire lately so I headed out with my pops for one more day to complete the 5 day weekend. 80 - 120 ft mark was the hunting ground, 3 spread KOS was the game plan. Boated 2 bows 3 Matures 21-24-25 and lost a big boy that made off with some new jewelry. The Finger was the spot to be for 3 days running now. Needless to say he keeps catching all the fish. Tightlines!
  5. Same rules apply. In shallower water try running your riggers with longer leads from the cannon ball depending on how shy the fish are being that day, tonight I was 60 - 100 back earlier in the week they were hitting right in the prop wash. Flashers/SD's and paddles are still good choices with flys and or spoons. Stick to brighter colors in the fall as well as glow and don't shy away from running plugs or stick baits the kings love anything that rattles! J plugs and flat fish also shine this time of year so don't be afraid to experiment. The fish are still feeding prior to heading to familiar spawning grounds but don't be over concerned with locating bait in order to find fish. Found fish all weak schooling up and the majority of the hooks we found and hit were absent from bait. This is an exciting time to get at em as the majority of the fish are matures and the odds are in your favor to hook the big one, but hit em while it lasts ! Good Luck !
  6. Bronte's a butcher shop - very few fish last long enough to spawn. Guys are walking out of there with 5+ fish per person and garbage bags full of roe which "they take to fish with" but end up snagging or netting the fish anyway! [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  7. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Bite Me ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): AUG 20 2012 Time on Water: 3 Hours Weather/Temp: 23- 25 Wind Speed/Direction: North Waves: Min Surface Temp: 70 Location: Hamilton LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 4 Total Boated: 4 Species Breakdown: Kings & Bows Hot Lure: B FULLER KOS ! Trolling Speed: 3.0 - 3.5 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 100 Lure Depth: 30ft ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Weather was good so we got out for a couple hours again tonight. 1 Bow 3 Kings 22 - 26 - 30.5. The bite really turned on as the sun vanished I was running a 3 "KOS" spoon spread because of their success over the weekend but never managed to get them all down at once before dark. 100 ft mark is home sweet home for the time being. What more can I say about these spoons Bob? Fantastic! Tightlines !
  8. Cheers bud! Your spoons are unstoppable the proof is in the pictures. All season long! [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  9. Pull the boat, repair all of our broken equipment thats been neglected all season and pray for a short winter. I can't really remember life without racing to the boat pre and post work so I guess it will take some getting use to. Then again there's always trout? [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  10. The fish are stacking up in the mouth, that's why you see all the boats in tight fishing ontop of each other. Add in the fact that it's now the final week of the Great Salmon hunt and you've got one crowded shoreline. Try the 100ft mark and closer we had some luck in there over the weekend. 11. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Bite Me ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Aug 18 - 19 Time on Water:8 - 10 Hours Weather/Temp: Cool Wind Speed/Direction East-South Waves: Mixed Bag less 1 M Surface Temp: 72 Location: Port Credit LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 14 Total Boated: 9 Species Breakdown: Kings - Bows Hot Lure: BFuller KOS Trolling Speed: 2.8 - 3.0 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 50 - 200 Lure Depth: 50 - 120 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Got my father out fishing for the weekend, we started out of the Oakville Mouth around 5:30am dropped lines around the 90ft mark and trolled out from there. We picked up a couple bows and small shakers but with no bait and no marks we decided pulled lines and ran down to the Port Credit area for the remainder of the morning. Port Credit was a zoo but we picked up some good marks in tight around 70 - 100 ft so we decided to tuff it out. Hot items on the divers were hammer fly / bloody death SD combos and black and purple Evil Eyes on about a 4' lead 150 back. The remainder of the fish were taken on BFullers "KOS" on the riggers all relatively close to the bottom. Sunday made our way to the Humber where we picked up the remainder of the fish for the weekend. Lots of fish stacking up in there a good rain might send a few through. Good weekend all and all. Tightlines !
  12. Fixed cheater - as in another rigger clip? In that case you could. Are you limited to a single downrigger? [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  13. Running both sounds like a charitable donation to the lake in the making! [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  14. That's my usual stomping ground! - it's been slow lately. Shell Pier to Fisherman's Pier 90-150 FOW have been producing all week. Glow and crinkle have been the hot item. Seem to be stacking up in there lots of hooks without bait. Having better luck with the matures in the evening as well. [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  15. What time were you out? We hammerd kings betwwen Oakville & Bronte tonite. 100ft mark [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  16. Deadly on the Bows. Green & glow and pink with the action head on a flasher and or SD. Kings don't seem to be as impressed with them. [ Post made via BlackBerry ]

  21. Same problem on the Canadian side. I've had at least 10 in the boat this year and a couple that let go of the fish near the boat. I busted the MNR officers chops about it at the dock yesterday - he replied that they have seen no more then usual and that they are confident that there is not an issue. [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  22. 5 fish 2 rods - Wow, new goal to shoot for! [ Post made via BlackBerry ]
  23. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Bite Me ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Aug 1 Time on Water: 1 - 1/2 Hours Weather/Temp:Clear Wind Speed/Direction: Min Waves: Min Surface Temp: 78 Location: Btonte LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 8 Total Boated: 7 Species Breakdown: Kings & Bows Hot Lure: BFuller Trolling Speed: 3.5 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 160 - 240 Lure Depth: 50' ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Got Bob's latest and greatest Uv spoons in the mail today so we headed out to see what they could do. Got out for an hour after work before the boat had enough, bagged a few nice fish on the riggers all between 35 - 50 down in the 180 range while action continued on the divers 200' back with rainbow after rainbow. Got 2 fish on one rod - 1 shaker on the slider and about a 5lb bow on the bottom line, that was a first! Bagged a king that went 27 on the scale before the boat called it quits. Overall a good trip and a good trial run for the new UV product that BFuller is now producing. Cant wait for the boat to cooperate so we can give these new spoons a fair trial run. The "KOS" strikes again ! Thanks Bob ! Tightlines
