  1. X2 Took me awhile to figure this out. I shoot compound so I can't speak for crossbow bolts. They still shoot slightly different than field points but group much better when the fetching and blades line up. Just gotta sight them in just like you would a gun. I have had good performance from G5 montec's but the majority vote seems to be the striker. I have a buddy that has been a lifetime user of the original 3 blade muzzy 100 grain. Best part about those is that the blades are replaceable. So you have some target blades and some hunting blades. Can get a six pack and the replacement blades for the cost of a 3 pack of Rage. For me I won't take the chance on any mechanical. Too many other things can go wrong out in the woods why would you leave your broadhead performance on that list ? 2. So I just spent a solid 2 hours catching up on this thread. You guys post so often its hard to keep up ! I am one of the "lurkers" as the saying goes. Not sure whose idea it was to start this or how many years ago it started but thank you. This is such a cool way to learn from other guys and keep in tune with what is going on in the woods. I am a weekend warrior. Life events have caused me to burn up all of my work vacation time prior to this hunting season I usually take off the first full week of November to spend down at my camp. I live in the NW side of monroe county (sounds like a bunch of you guys do as well) and hunt down in 8P. No archery buck for me this year. I did take a mature doe last weekend of October and am pleased with that. Feeling pretty discouraged right about now due to the fact that I sat all day both days for the past two weekends and only saw a small 6 point chasing a doe and a couple fawns. I prefer taking deer with bow and arrow but by no means am I an archery purist. I'll be out this Saturday, boomstick in hand waiting on the heavy antlered crab claw 8 PT that has been stalking our property all year. I will be sure to post any successful harvests of mature buck from our camp And congrats to all those that have all ready harvested !! Sent from my VS988 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. That Selkirk stuff looks and sounds great but is a little out of my price range@ $300 per item. Anybody know of a set of bibs/jacket you can get for under $400 ? Read some other online reviews for Natural Gear[emoji769] Men's Winter-Ceptor Windproof Microfleece Parka and bibs anybody know about those ? Sent from my VS988 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I am a native of Greece, NY that now lives in South Carolina. I am back home for the holidays until Jan 2. Looking to get after some birds around the the Western Monroe County or the Finger Lakes area. Anyone looking for a hunting partner for late season ? I have about 16 mallard and 12 bluebill decoys ready to rock.
