  3. We certainly have fun doing it! We always spend more money on beer than anything else for the weekend. Lol Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. On my way to H,V,S right now actually, to pick up a few things. Namely the same color Spinny I took 2nd place with in the Canandaigua derby. I don't seem to have one anymore. Better get 2 I guess! Lol Us southenders may be a little slow, but we won a lot of money last year! $6300 in total between all of us that fish together. 5. I'm a Diehard about fishing, but even I'm beat after 12-14hrs. on the water!!! Gramps always told me if you're going to be dumb, ya gotta be tough!!! Lol Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I may be slow setting up but I always have my best $hit in the water!!! Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. If you can't find a spot close by, your more than welcome to post up in my yard. I live in Lodi about 3mi. From the Point in town. I have 4acres so space won't be a problem. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Serverne is definitely your best bet. It can be a little tricky pulling in with the wind outta the north. Make sure you have atleast one guy on the dock asap to get lines cleated when you get in or you chance bashing the rocks on your port side. I saw it happen twice last summer. 9. You always have to have Your best $hit in the water if you wanna catch em'!!! Lol Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. 1/4 or 3/8oz. Is what I use. I only use 10lb Cajun line on my spinning rods. I tend to catch a lot of cookie cutter fish 3-4lbs. A good west wind at Lodi pt. or Sampson state park, the pier by the Ramada in Geneva, or Seneca lake state park (off the pier) is where I throw spoons. That little bit of muddy water crashing on the shore, you can crush the browns/landlocks. Blue/Silver,Silver, Gold, Green/Silver,or Orange/Silver, or Perch painted works awesome! 11. I fished yesterday and had little to no luck. Only moved two rods. We pulled flatlines all day. We fished south outta Lodi down to the scout camp with no avail. We picked up and motored over to Severne and fished north. We fished the east side all the way past Dresden. The water was 38-39° til we hit Dresden, then the fish hawk was marking anywhere from 39-43° for a down temp. After our two hookups we decided to go back across and fished Willard back to Lodi pt. The water temp was about the same in 10-15fow. Since they weren't in close yet. I'd start off in 100fow and stack my riggers 20'- 80' fow and maybe set out a SGR 150' to find your target range. 12. We fished last weekend out of Lodi and headed up the east side. Never moved a rod, then went to the west side in front of Dresden and hooked up on two nice Lakers. Both on riggers. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. What did we have last year? Like 20 teams? Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I've fished Lodi since I was 12yrs. Old and have no problem with it being posted up. The biggest problem the previous owner had was with the garbage left behind. Every time I'd fish it I'd bring back a backpack full of ****. 9/10 of us on here are responsible fishermen who help pick up the trash. Line, beer cans, wrappers, and other misc. Junk. The owner said that he'll open it up in the future but it's going to be by permission only and responsible fishermen who practice carry in - carry out. I'm all for it being posted up. Let them spawn and get the numbers back up so we can enjoy this stream when we're older and have kids/grandkids and want to teach them the ways of the creek. There's plenty of other tribs to fish within 15-20min. that are still very fishable as long as we take the time to take care of them too. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. . I'll be on the DarkWater. and there will be beer involved. Haha. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. I'll be in on someone's boat. Hopefully we can pull one in like we did last year on Team Rampage and defend the crown! Lol Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I have had great luck fishing the wall next to the launch inlet with Kastmasters. You can really send them spoons out there. I've been able to limit out there many times in the past within a hour or two. There's a big shelf about 50' out that the landlocks and Lakers love to hang around. Even bobber fishing with sawbellies is quite successful. Good luck and Tight lines brother! Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Cool video brother!, thanks for sharing. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. We had a lot of boats around us early but they went searching. Then came back and left again. Finally 2 boats got hip to the fact we were dipping fish every 20-30min. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. 60+80 on riggers, dipsys were 250-280, and 400' copper was fire!!!! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. We had a few shake loose this morning but got them in the boat after a quick adjustment. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. 600'-650 fow is where you wanna be. We boxed out by 9:30am not a single fish taken on a spoon all paddles. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Orange and anything brass or copper colored has been working well on both Seneca and Cayuga. Starting out at 100-140fow would be a good start in the morning. we didn't have a fish hawk so we were just kinda winging it. Lol Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. On a Seth Green rig you have a bead chain every 10-15ft. After you hook your lures on your first 5 bead chains were letting out another 3-5 for out depth. So we're running around 120-160ft. Down. I meant to type bead chains instead of leaders. Lol all three days we fished Cayuga we launched out of Dean's cove and headed south. We had good luck on the east side of the lake every time. I couldn't keep my UV SSW in the water the first two days!!! We caught over 30 fish both days. The downrigger rods were firing like crazy!!! UV boy/girl and burnt chicken wing were also great colors. Orange spoons and green also took a lot of fish. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Cayuga has been great the past few weeks. Caught a lot of Lakers. 100-160FoW has been good. Downriggers stacked 40-70ft. And two Seth Green rigs 5-8 leaders down have been very productive! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Lake Ontario United mobile app
