Alewife Strips Instead of herring for meat rigs? I know a lot of guys tried it before but I was wondering if its comparable to herring strips? If I cut and cure alewifes will they work better or not? I know herring has more oil to it and probably a little more durability but it's easier and cheaper for me to get my hands on them

1990 bayliner hardtop Selling my bayliner trophy only because I use it probably 4 times a year mostly for the Seneca lake trout derby I have a smaller Lund I fish out of most of the time ...but it runs great it has 2 walker electric downriggers and one manual cannon, moor subtroll hook up (no probe got water in it beginning of year) boat has the 305 chevy in it runs great turn key and go I do use the main to troll with it does troll around 2.0-2.4 with no drift bags out. I believe the hours on the motor is around 600 changed the oil this year in the block and in the lower unit.. trailer does come with it. The 2 way pump for the fish wells broke so I pulled it out so they can drain . Other then that it great boat for fishing clean inside the cab
