    Friends boat just came up forsale with trailer he’s asking $2200 OBO, boats a 1982 20ft wall around boats in decent shape just needs tlc work motor runs good it’s a 150 v6 Johnson figured it’ll be a nice fishing boat for someone he bought it new in 82 and original owner kept up on maintenance.

    A buddy of mine caught this king outta sodus said the king bit both cheaters on his down riggers ,he thought he had a double then realized the king had Both cheaters that were down around 50ft.. the kings are hungry!!

    Fishing’s good for trolling for lakers seems like their getting more aggressive, silvers seems to be showing up but not so aggressive, spoons been working the best for both, hammerheads and gamblers close to bottom been producing, had some luck with live bait on Thursday morning with sawbellys went 4/4 with a couple lakers pushing 7lbs, throwing grass crabs and perch minnows by Sampson Should produce some bass and perch, pike love the Mepps musky killer and husky jerks

    First year fishing in the canandaigua lake trout derby.. great time, trolling was steady most of Saturday with lakers from 2-5lbs range a couple small steel head around the 1-2lb range.. Sunday we bobber fished got 3 lakers 2 steel head 1 brown and a bullhead.. nothing that placed but fun time watching the bobber go under. Great time congrats to the guys on the board! those are some huge fish!

    Haven’t been to Kring point in a couple years but my best luck was casting mepps musky killer in silver and drop shotting pike minnows.. for bass I used deeper diving crank baits like kvd next to rocks off Morgan island.. if your fishing off a boat then throw too water baits in calm shallow water like pencil baits or frogs. If no luck then try drop shotting the wacky rig in the shipping lanes around 10-25ft

    Depending on lake conditions 3/4-2oz jig heads 4”-5” bass baits in white,glow, chartreuse or green.. you can get away with 3/4 oz silver blade baits too.. I buy jigs from ebay it’s the cheapest

    You can learn a lot from the map like structure/drop offs and it tells you what the bottom is.. tells you where rocks are so where gobys/crayfish are gonna be and where the predators will be. Sandy bottom areas bouy markers for coming or going in dim lighting and some creeks on there..

    Depending on speed 1/2-2oz egg sinkers or trolling sinkers.. rapala shad raps jointed in sizes 5&7 that dive 10-15ft.. running egg sinkers with spoons.. get your mono put egg sinker on and tie a swivel then as 8-10ft florocarbon leader and swivel with a spoon/shallow diving plug anything deeper then 25ft I pull out slide divers,lead cores and down riggers

    Just pulled it off the boat.. I think the compass was broke I’m not sure, the face plate turned on but when put in auto pilot mode it was all over the place.. maybe someone could use the parts $50
