Spin- going Thursday night on my buddies boat. First Erie trip of the year for me. He fished Saturday night for his first time and caught 5 males in shallow. The night troll with light line is my favorite fishing of the year.

Keep in mind your shake down is at the start of the LOC derby-most will be tight lipped.

Fog was not an issue- some nice healthy thick fish- all still swimming - I just got done cleaning the boat with spic and span- slimers!! Easter miracle was no poopers- coughing up gobies

Water is Cold- 34 surface- 38 bottom- lakers everywhere just east and west of port 60-75 ‘ of water. Went 31/33 in 5 hours. Riggers /dipseys- NK-28’s I don’t think color mattered but silver/greens-Plan was to catch a king but wishful thinking

Same story out of Wilson. Got a sun burn out there. Did circles all day on a very thin temp break - went 7/9 in 5 hours-one steelie the rest Browns- this was the best one of the day

Any opinions on NAP crossbow. I haven't had any problems with them so far. No O rings to mess around with and a nice hard bone penetrating point.

shot this doe last week with a 3 blade spitfire- first year using them. Have used G5T3 in the past. I don’t think they make them anymore?? She crumbled after 30 yards and spilled paint buckets of blood.Broadhead still looks brand new, not a mark on it. They fly like a field point- I will be using them again

We are lucky to have an old dilapidated house on the property with power- I do have a generator back up. First year with the trailer so not sure how long a battery will last.

My dad and I finally bought a new to us trailer for the property we hunt. Got a great deal on it. Driving back and forth was really starting to wear on us, especially my 75 year old father. It was in great shape and didn’t need to do anything major like yourself bout time- you did a outstanding job! Only thing we did was rip out the dinette which stuck out way to far and built a bed in its place. We have a fold down table that we put on the bed while traveling.

Well, got it done last night. This buck is over 200lb and 5 and a half year old (believe it or not) have pictures from last 4 years and his rack hasn't changed much other than gaining mass but his body is massive. The best part is my daughter enjoyed all of it with me.. extra special .

Temps were all over the place today 75-55 at the ball down 50- mid 50’s on bottom- Yesterday there was a break off Wilson35-45 down of almost 20 degrees and the fish loved it up high.
